It's a shame no one has stepped any of this yet. Seriously.
God Dango Daikazoku (Final edit) is so freaking catchy. If you posted the bpm changes and when they are someone would step it I think.

Anyways, you have some pretty good stuff. Nice work.

Re: Some of my UK Hardcore songs, free to use.
Holy mother of god, the lead line on Sound of my Dream is simply impressive. At first, I was going to say "yeah, this is fairly generic," but then that main synth came in and I was like
Like I stated earlier in this thread, very hot ****. Slightly generic for my taste (I'm always striving for innovation in the UK hardcore genre), but very, very good stuff. It's always nice to have someone else composing in my genre of choice. Gotta love competition ;D Last edited by Starshot; 12-3-2008 at 09:39 AM.. |

Do you happen to have a newgrounds or macjams account with these songs?

Re: Some of my UK Hardcore songs, free to use.
Updated with more songs, one commercial trance: http://www.znapmedia.se/ZnapPlayer/_...hp?mp3=1021655
and one J-core track: http://helblinde.wordpress.com/releases/ (the link is way 2 long, virtual emotions is the latest one) Due to a computer crash I am unable to find the bpm on the previous tracks, these are 200 on "Virtual emotions" and 150 on "Planetarium" And also thanks Hairy Cabbage! I tried to download from your main site, but only five songs downloaded. Do you have a zipped pack of all your work?
ON a side note, and a bit off topic, anyone willing to host music that a friend of mine did a few years ago? He's given full rights for FFR, but he doesn't have a dedicated web page. |

Re: Some of my UK Hardcore songs, free to use.
Sorry for the late late reply... Just finished replicating my 3-4 fies for FFR and sent them. Also, Im in Nanjing, so its hard to get anything through their filters.
My next step is to step something of urs (if steppable). Checking ur songs now. And yes... bpm would be nice. Dont see any BPM anywhere though. Edit: Ahh its in this thread. Cratique: Chaos Core - The random vocals ruined it for me. I think I heard the melody of the last part of the song somewhere. Repetitive too to me. Overall: Not to fond of this. Otaku Hardcore Revolution – The anthem (Helblinde remix) - Decent for stepping. Will need a cut since a lot of the song to me will be a drag. Overall: This would be something that I will be interested in stepping. I can't envision the steps much more that 4t and 8th jump sequence with the melodies in 12th and 24ths later on. Thats the only thing Im concerned about. Although this is similer to most Gabba and J-Core songs in general, this is pretty much the case for the entire song. etc... Ive sampled a couple of ur songs. To me, you only explored one kind of sound for the melody which turns ur songs into some euro/gabba version of itself. Im not sure if you purposely did that or if you perfer it that way or if you aiming for that kind of style, but Im not a fan of it. This was extremely clear with Shiro which to me, got boring real quick. i can say that to about 5 of the songs that you have on that site. Im not a fan of straight up J-core without insane drum-loops like what Shapnel does, so dont take this criticism to hard. I think Ill wait for ur later hardstyle/hardhouse stuff. Re: Some of my UK Hardcore songs, free to use.
operationstrawbarry: Thanks for your critique And yeah, that's the style I have been aiming for recentley. I'm doing some odd stuff right now due to the fact that OHR2009 is coming up, some of it might be stepable!
wargasm1: That would be "Revisit leMU" I think, glad that you like it! who_cares973: Awesome, looking forward to it! Also, new release: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8nL_...e=channel_page Can be downloaded at http://www.helblinde.se as per usual |

You know, I actually finished stepping the song quite awhile back. Only problem was, it felt too easy. Long-easy songs aren't fun.
