Epic Failure
Well, I've been playing vertex beta with Autofail on 1 good, 1 average, 1 boo, and 1 miss for the hell of it, just to see how far I could get. Anyways, I was playing for a while today and this comes out
http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...play/33026907/ Note: Lot's of Av misses, but like I said I had it on autofail. When I get a good, it'll boo out Anyways, for those that don't want to watch the video (which I'm sure a lot of you don't, I wouldn't) I get all the way past the final stream and to the outro while still AAA'ing, only to get a random good. The reason why I'm posting this is because I was quivering so much out of sheer nervousness that I got that random good. I can't play like that at all, I shake too much for me to even think about fc'ing, let alone PA'ing. How do people get past that? Do you just master your nervousness, or hope for the best while shaking like crazy? Or does this only happen to me? It's gonna be a while before I try this again >.< P.S: I'm not sure this goes in the brag board, since this isn't something I'd brag about normally, so if it needs to be moved move it please

Re: Epic Failure
I don't play with autofail on, the idea is good but it's so nervewracking. I'd rather do the quittings out myself, as funny as it sounds.

Re: Epic Failure
It's best to concentrate on what you are aiming to achieve, not what you are hoping not to happen. That way, you think of the good stuff.
My tip: Think of what you will do with your soon-to-be AAA. Make a colourful 'wow' thread about it, tell all your mates, double post on the FFR scores thread... Just think about the bright side. That way, your nervousness won't get you carried away, adjusting your concentration from the song itself.

Re: Epic Failure
I seem to do worse when I have 1 good, or something like that on.

Re: Epic Failure
Yes, the psychological aspect of autofail messes me up, knowing I might hit a random good and fail out automatically.
Like Patashu, I stopped using autofail awhile ago and just fail out on my own when I hit a good or something. I don't recommend it.

Re: Epic Failure
When I think of what i'm going to do I end up losing concentration and getting a good or a boo or both lol
VB is hard. But basically to shake off any nervousness I may have I transfer it from my hands to my feet so I can still play.
