Default Neomax: red syndrome?

ok so I decided to take a break from playing random songs level 9 and up and decided to AAA some below that level. So yeah, Neomax has rainbow color but it changes to all red near the end of the song? Can anyone tell me what's with that?

I'd imagine the BPM is doubled or quadrupled towards the end so that the eighths and sixteenth notes are red.

Can't be. The same thing happens in Domani.

Explain that, Einstein.

Domani is just ****ed up...pink background and all.

I do think that there is a very high BPM change towards the end of NeoMAX like Orange Dude said. (Seems like it, at least.)

It is pretty random. There is no point in it being there

A unique representation of climax theory.

Well why would Jello do that?

NeoMAX's ending isn't THAT fast...

lol, I just now AAA'd this, But those red notes are what got me messed up. You just need to really focus on what arrows they really are, then it is easy.

Jello didn't put a single BPM change in his file.

It's an artifact of an older converter kind of like Tera said.

Jello must've lost his colored pencils by the end of the song then.

I AAA'd it awhile back though, so I really don't care that much, lol.

Interesting fact: 121 AAAs out of 63,901 individual players.

About .19% of the people who have ever played the song AAA'd it. I think it indicates how much of a bitch that red note syndrome section is.

In the old times when a 12th/24th/32nd or something showed up all the notes would become screwed up after that, just like how GGC used to be until tass fixed it.

Torinouta and coat czech were the first 2 files I believe to be released after they fixed this glitch for good.

There are certain files in the game that when a 12th,24th, etc. would come up they would change the bpm so the notes would stay on the 4th/8th/16th frames, avoiding having this glitch.

A good example is end night, as you can see in this SS, the first set in the box, is a 32nd, sped up to double BPM to avoid having this red note glitch show up.

I think it's mainly because of avmisses at the end.

For awhile that was a pretty big problem because those jacks are 3 framers. Still, if you had mastered the ability to hit early, you could get all Perfects.

The song has been playable without avmisses for about 8 months now and it still has only 121 AAAs. That's really not that many.

Oh, TeRa is right. You can still get all perfects on 3s. Edited my post.

Thanks for that.

actually, the bpm doesn't change at all... other than that, you're right Tera. what happened is that we only had 3 colors of noteskins at the time, red-blue-yellow. anything that was 12th, 24th, 32nd, 48th, etc would be shifted to another color.

it was in balloon fever too, as well as a bunch of other songs. many have been fixed by myself or shash... a few still haven't. such as epic, domani, rat v2, neomax, visions.
