PSPRevolution is pure win.
But I need help with it. I tried to put songs in from the FFR simfile index, and they show up in my menu, but either say "NO SONGS FOUND", is a blank menu, or freezes my PSP. So far I've only tried Secret Zombie Room v2, Field of Snow, and a Stepmix Pack off stepmania.com. If anyone could help me here, please do.
Since it is possible that my firmware may be the cause, it is 4.01 M33-2, and I use Noobz eLoader IPA to start PSPR since it doesn't normally.

Re: PSPRevolution is pure win.
you might wanna remove your mac address before someone hacks into your psp...
anyway. what you need is to buy a "Pandora" Battery from ebay. or go to forums.qj.net and select psp. then hack help. and somewhere there is a forum for people like you to get there PSP's hacked for free by meeting someone like lets say at a mall. and they use there battery for free. then you come home and click the link i showed the guy who made this thread. btw if your in nj maybe i can hack it for you... |

Re: PSPRevolution is pure win.
pln basket, I can't believe you don't have a hacked PSP. Of course way better features are included with Custom Firmware (aka hacked firmware), some of my favorites including IR Shell (a pimped out xmb), ir access (ability to control electronic devices, tv, computer, xbox, those projectors at school), and the ability to play pirated PSP games (my favorite ).
For the op, songs have to be put into a folder for you to be able to play them. |

Re: PSPRevolution is pure win.
Uhm, the Pandoras Battery does not distribute PSP's copyrighted files..
The battery puts the PSP into service mode and The magic memory stick flashes the files (Pretty sure..) from the 1.50 update which anyone can legally obtain, which then allows you to downgrade. This is like saying that by buying a computer, the sellers are helping us commit copyright infringement because we can download PSP software on said computer. PSP Hacking is NOT illegal as long as you dont distribute any of the files from any Flash0-X folders.. Those are the system files and are copyrighted. Re: PSPRevolution is pure win.
LISTEN! I looked up EVERYTHING about hacked firmware before I got it because my PSP is my baby, and if I broke it I'd cry. So, in the process of looking up risks I found it is purely legal. Sony, on the other hand has major problems with it, which is why they added a lock-out chip and something to detect digital Sony-Signatures. Okay? Its not illegal, Sony just gets pissed. And since when does Sony have Federal power? Oh. Yeah. NEVER. So if you wanna void your company warranty, then hack it.
PS if it was illegal, don't you think Sony would've tracked down Team M33 (Dark-Alex), Team GEN, and all the other hackers?

Re: PSPRevolution is pure win.
For a while Sony actually wanted to hire Dark Alex. But anyway modifying the firmware or hardware voids your warranty. NBD if you got your PSP used like me. Just don't pirate games (y'know I've never done it and I buy games all the time for sure...) and you'll be fine.
