Do you post in every topic that you click?

If you don't have anything to add to the discussion, then don't say anything. Going "i don't read lol" in a topic about what books you've read is postwhoring. Cut it out.

River's End by Nora Roberts
Althought it's around 400 pages, you might enjoy reading it.

i should probably mention now that House of Leaves is like 800 pages but every single page is enjoyable so that's not a bad thing

I second the suggestion of the His Dark Materials series by Philip Pullman. It is such an amazing series that you definitely shouldn't pass it up!

And don't worry, you'll love it even if you don't like physics.

(If you happened to see the movie for The Golden Compass, that didn't do it justice. It's exponentially better when you read it.)

If you like Sci-fi.
Pebble In The Sky (probably my favorite Asimov book), by Isaac Asimov
Journey To The Center Of The Earth, by Jules Verne
Ender's Shadow (geared to younger audience, but still good), by Orson Scott Card.

I don't know about anyone else, but i love the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer. Twilight was so good, I finished it before the day was over, and, if I rememebr correctly, it's a little more than 200 pages. The last book of the series, Breaking Dawn, comes out August second. I'm so excited.

:]

Wait... I remember seeing a picture of Izzy's stack of Battle Royale mangas... is that something different?
It was a book, then written in manga format, and then made into a movie. Ive yet to read the manga version or see most of the movie. The book is really good dispite being bith low level reading and vulgar at the same time

Yes! Well, I'm in the middle of it, but it's pretty good. It's called Girlhearts by Norma Fox Mazer It's sad. Um, you could also read The Incredible Journey, as well. It's a good book. You have had to at least heard of that book. And, you should read John Grisham books! He's good!

i thought i posted in this thread but i guess not.

Vince Flynn writes amazing books. His Mitch Rapp series is about a CIA agent fighting terrorism. Really good books.

You don't have to read his book in order but you'll miss a few things here and there.
Most of his books are a long read(300-600 pages) but once you start, you seriously can't stop reading.

It has 2 sequels out now (A fourth and movie coming soon) I recommend Twilight. I've yet to read the host but I've heard that's a really good one. I also recommend Fatal Burn by Lisa Jackson.

I also recommend The Host.
I bought and read it a couple of days ago.
It's different from the Twilight saga but enjoyable.

I'm really enjoying the old testiment in the bible currently. Especially the book of Daniel.

Oh, and I'm also reading The Good Earth by Pearl S Buck. So far it's excellent.

Read those. : )

Or else.

Prey by Michael Crichton.

If you're not familiar with Crichton's books, he is a writer who specializes in science-fiction thrillers. He is best known for writing Jurassic Park, if you've read it or seen the film. Prey, I believe, is up there as one of his best works. Definitely check it out if you have time.
