2x = Slow now.

So, you ever have those times on FFR where you get so used to a speed that it begins to actually become slow for you? Well, that has happened me with EVERY single speed I've played to the point where, about a month ago, I stepped it up to 2x. Now, at this depressing mark in time, even 2x has become too slow for me, as well as still hard to read at points because some stuff still looks clustered together. So, does anyone else feel like there should be a 2.25? ;_;

Oh, and don't even mention 3x. 3x is EVIL. I will never be able to read that. XD

That idea has been stated in the forums for like, forever and the answer is usually yes, there should be a higher speedmod.

In my opinion, 2x is freakin' slow; 2.25x / 2.5x, please.

Screen cut. If that doesn't work (which it does, DS is still playing 1x screencut), go play 1.75 for a day, then go back to 2x the next day, and it'll be fast/normal again. 2.25x and stuff would be horrible, 2x is really choppy due to FPS. Besides, 2.25x is a 75bpm speed jump, which is a little much.

Faster speedmods wouldn't work with the framerate properly.

3rd Style will have a much improved framerate, thus 3rd style will have more options for speedmods.

Asked and answered a dozen times already.
