At least get him to send it in while he's not using it.

Also, I beat Event 41 on Hard. Damn, that was annoying as hell. It was down to Snake and he pretty much killed himself with grenades and landmines.

Also is anyone else who's using the Gamecube controller for the first time in a long, long time feeling a really sharp pain in the inside knuckle of your middle finger? I had to put a small pad on the back of the controller just to kind of cushion my finger on it. It rests right against the edge of the plastic holding the L button in place.

I get the same pain Squeek got, my left hand's knuckles just start hurting from the L-button, while my right doesn't for no apparent reason. :/

The way they make you depress the shield button completely now is something I'm not really used to. At least they give you the option to disable jumping with the stick.

I got a Smash Service stage where the builder pretty much put as many platforms as close to together as possible. It was really, really, really stupid.

Yeah, they removed analog recognition for that. Also removed power shielding apparently, although to be honest, I was never able to do it anyway.

How does that work? I set it to be turned on, but I don't know what you're talking about exactly.

I'm not sure how it works either, I just turned it on and all of a sudden last night I found I had a custom level with a Japanese title/description. Might just send it to you randomly or at a certain time

It sends you one new image, video, and stage every day, but takes the old ones away. I don't know at what times, though.

So Final Destination happens to be one of the laggiest stages on brawl which is very unfortunate. If only you could somehow turn backgrounds off or something because i'm sure that that is the cause.

More flat boring stages please.

I'm getting stupid lag whenever I play online. Like sometimes its 1-3 seconds bad. It can't just be the wifi can it? I mean, I play other games online, and I haven't had anything this bad since dialup.

All of the random match ups I played were laggy as ****, but when I played vash it was smooth as hell. Totally different. Try playing against friends if you're lagging bad. If you're still lagging, it's because of you.

I'm sure that backgrounds are processed locally. I played that stage multiple times with vash and no lag. If you're still lagging while playing a single friend, it's because of you.

Are you saying that my connection is bad which is therefore giving me lag? because that would make sense being at my friends house where the connection here is almost non existent.

Rofl, that could have been our problem.

Well all of the friends codes i've given out have never been my own. I personally haven't played online at my house i've been playing at friends houses because i hate my mom and choose to not be in her presence when i can help it. The connection at my house should be just fine but i'm sure that our games lag was my fault by being at my friends

K uhm, how the freg does Wi-Fi work, I can't fregan connect.

This day has been gay as hell.

It keeps saying "Error 51030"...Wtf is that.

Edit:

Can I somehow "reset" my Wii, to like, have nothing on it...If not, Wiis are gay, because Ps3's can do that.

Edit2: K so...the ****ing idiot who had the Wii before us put in a ****ing parental control thing, and I can't access anything. I can't even reset the damn thing.

This thread is soo helpful... >_>

Good thing it's a Brawl Thread and not a "How do I fix my Wii" thread in the tech section.

There's a format console option in the menu. That will work.

If you do an update after that it will ask about parental controls at which point you DENY them.

Done.

In case you don't know anything, don't forget to back up your saves if possible before formatting.
