Default FFR Credits

Anyways, how are the credits calculated at the end of each song? Is it just calculated from the score, the number of times you hit a certain note (perfect, good...), or both?

From your total score. I don't know exactly what is the minimum points required for each credit count, but I do know that you need at least 2 million points to get 40 credits, the maximum amount.

Which is why if you've unlocked the 40 credit skill token, UNknown Girl, you can just go from there. I unlocked it by playing MAX Forever, although I can't remember what my total score was on that song. I know it's my best score, which shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

I also unlocked it from MAX Forever but I could do it on a handful of songs now. Rondo Alla Turca V1/V2 , The brain of the Moon, Bicycle Break, Cosmic Orchestra, Night of Flight, etc.

yeah but for some reason you can get 40 creds with a score of only about 1.85~1.9 mil points.
That's happened to me

Anything over 1.95 ought to get you 40 credits I'd imagine. It's also at least somewhat possible that there is a discrepency between the score we see and the score we actually get, and it is at least a little possible that they tweaked the ratio of points to credits a little at the high end, possibly because there weren't always a glut of songs to get 2mil + points on.

For every 50k points you earn you gain 1 credit, however, when you earn 1.25 million points or more you gain a free credit and when you earn 1.75 million points or more you gain another free credit after each song, which is why earning 1.9 million points or more means you gain 40 credits.
