Default Weird experiences with DDR/ITG songs

Something pretty strange happened to me some time ago, I had a pretty awkward experience when I listened to a fan DDR song.

I was sitting at the computer in my living room somewhere between 5:30 and 6:00 in the morning, realizing I only slepped a few hours. I was listening to a fan DDR song of Fascination MaxX by Detach-M-STYLE called Fascination MaxX (Triple SHOCK Mix); I downloaded the song and the simfile from Bemanistyle. When I stopped listening to it, I went down the hall to my room and got back to bed. The song was still playing inside of my head as my eyes were shut, and it was making me think about having a knife jammed right through me on a stormy night and burried in the backyard as a lovely couple leaves town as the song played in the background. Then I woke up and then I turned the TV on to forget about the complete shock of what I just listened to. After the experience, I felt that a song like that should be suitable for the daytime, not that I'm scared. I swear, I also did think about the same thing when I listened to the song a few more times before going back to sleep.

If you've had any experiences with DDR/ITG songs, any at all, please post.

Well, it didn't happen on Stepmania(and if this topic is referring to Stepmania you're in the wrong forum), but on my home version of Extreme 2, I was playing Twinbee(Generation X) and it started playing the steps, but the music was already starting at the load screen. So basically, I started playing it on the pad, with the music half done and me dancing the steps from the beginning. When the music ended, I was just stepping to the arrows with no music. It was really weird.

Sometimes when the simfile/song loads it lags. When I was at our DDR 1st mix machine I picked Paranoia 180 (maniac) then while it loads it stopped for at least 20 seconds or so. Then when it came back it was already halfway there and it failed.

I still have no problems at home with my DDR Supernova.

About a year ago when my brother was playing Cartoon Heroes (the most annoying DDR song) on Extreme 2 home version on the PS2, the song felt like it was jinxing him and making him miss a combo of 2-3 misses and then fails the song and then gets mad. When I was still listening to those annoying, childish lyrics and vocals, it felt like the song's vocals just came out of the TV screen and spoke to me like a 7-year-old was speaking every time he kept restarting on the same song. It was weird yet aggravating and obnoxious.

I was playing Kakumei on versus mode on DDR extreme. I was playing heavy, while the other person played standard. In the middle of the song, the game froze, while the music kept playing. Then the game resumed and the arrows were going a lot faster than normal until the end of the song.

I remember once that I was playing with a partner on an Extreme Machine (sorry, can't remember the song, the partner, or the machine, it was that long ago), but I think my partner accidentally pressed the arrow buttons instead of the center button to try and enter the mods screen when I started the song too quickly for them, which it didn't, obviously. Then the weirdest thing happened, and I think the right song was playing, but the stepchart was for another song...

On time I had a dream that I was listening to the DDR song "Put your Faith in Me." Then I played it the next day! Dream come true!

These words that we play are a pleasant melody
All I want is to have you by my side,
so that I won't lose my smiling eyes
even on a night when we can't see the twinkling of the stars.

I was playing PSMO and my foot cracked the plastic on the left arrow. I think the machine was getting quite worn, anyway.
