Max credits
Not sure if this is really a bug...
I heard someone mention that they earned over 60 credits on max forever. However, I FC'ed max forever and I only got 40. Is 40 the new maximum for credits, or was I gipped? Just wondering. |

Re: Max credits
The max was either removed or really high for a really short time, but now it's been reduced to 40. This may or may not be final, however.

Re: Max credits
I would like to get more thoughts on this from everyone. Right now it has been raised from around 25 and is currently 40.

Re: Max credits
Guess I was just getting my hopes up. Well, 40 is a lot better than 25 at least.

I just can't find any good reason for the restriction.

Re: Max credits
Maybe have 1 credit/50,000 points up until 2 million, and then 1 credit/100,000 points after that?

Re: Max credits
I actually received -1 credits today much to my surprise. I mistakenly started a song so I Boo'd out of it and on the FFR screen I had a -1 in my credit score.
Maybe I am suffering from a fit of delirium but i could swear it was true. |

Re: Max credits
I don't like the restriction but if there needs to be one then a higher number lik 60 would be better.

Re: Max credits
I think there should be no restriction, since I see no reason why someone who FC'd all the parts of TGWP should receive very many more credits than someone who FC'd it if they were all put together into one song. This way, if you want to earn credits faster, it would be to your advantage to just fail a song after you'd already passed 2,000,000 points. Finally, I don't think someone who FC'd Pants should get the same number of credits as someone who FC'd Sensorium.
To me, I usually don't like playing really long songs, and at least there should be a reasonable incentive. On songs like pants, it's so long, I only get my max combo points once out of the entire thing. If this were cut in half into 2 songs, even without a credit max, I'd still get more credits from the 2 parts version, since I'd get my points for my max combo in both of them. Therefore, unless you can FC Pants or something, you'd probably get more playing other songs similar to what I said, and anyone that FCs it deserves a huge number of credits.

Re: Max credits
Verry true. 40, should be raised to 60 or more.

Re: Max credits
Synth already knows my opinion on this, but I see no reason whatsoever to have a max.
I see no reason why FC'ing a 1000 note song 3 times should give more credits than FC'ing a 3000 note song once.

Re: Max credits
definitely, if it used to calculate it up to 25, and we're changing it, we might as well change it to no max.

Re: Max credits
How are the number of credits you get per song currently determined? I don't think I've ever seen that information, and it might be useful to know. Thanks.
