I did very much enjoy the flavor posts from ShadoWolfe. I know you said that they were pre-written, but a good chunk of them seemed to contain details that incorporated details about the current game state (in a NAI way) which was a nice touch. Felt like there was a good amount of effort put into that

I do think that there definitely is merit to not immediately accepting a trust offer from a town if you are a wolf
that being said, if you're doing that, don't play like how Lewdy did lmao, you have to actually anti-spew, or be in it for the LONG haul

I know I said they were all pre-written, but that was honestly a lie to try and teach new players not to angleshoot. There was nothing AI to be gleaned in the flavor posts, but I remember when I first started playing that I would overanalyze everything, including flavor and host comments and everything, and angleshoot mentally. It's bad play and tends to get you nowhere, so I just wanted to put it out there more concretely that there was nothing for them to gain from my posts.

The truth is that once I locked down that I was doing Michael Scott, I dove deep into the office and got a bunch of moments I wanted to reference and some direct quotes and little blurbs and then wrote some general reaction ideas and so on, but not any full posts. I feel like I read thread more actively than I would have if I was playing the game, and I spent a bunch of time I shouldn't have on this game, so I would "pre-write" the flavor post usually when I saw the direction players were going to take, before they actually did it so that I could be ready to post flavor quickly. As a result, the flavor quickly started revolving around Hakulyte, because all the critical events in the drama we were watching revolved around him, the theme of his lack of trust, overthinking, and the problems that being too distrustful can bring.

I had a lot of fun with it, but yeah, saying they were "all prewritten" was definitely an overexaggeration/lie and existed only to deter angleshooting. I think the players with more experience hosting knew that right away, like sunfan had made a post about "making Wolfe run out of pre-written posts" that I could only read as a jab at my fib about prewritten posts.

I suppose it falls to me to ask about this since I'm the only one who remembered this post?
