Where do I (or when does this) change? depreciated countermeasures for botting generally stagnates a community. No modern user is looking to jump through hoops to be ingratiated into a niche. It feels like instead of developing a better solution the decision was do develop trust issues for anyone outside of the space. Sorry for my cynicism but its a pretty uninviting first impression

I don't appreciate the guilty until proven innocent design ... is there a minimum score or unique play prerequisite? What if a new player wanted to ask something an FAQ doesn't cover? Considering they're often written by people with a very distant comprehension of what its like interact with a service for the first time (knowing what a noob might need, but not cognizant of what one could want to know). It wouldn't be surprising for someone new to be curious about something not previously documented. Yet If a new player signs up, plays a dozen songs and has a query that requires an experienced users input, it's kind of difficult to find an on-site solution for something like that. I could click the big button that says community, be taken to the forums. Only to be told I'm not welcome. There's not even an introductions subforum with new user permissions where a person could make make a "hey sup im new" thread.
I .. just want things to be the best they can be. There are flaws

(BTW) At the time of writing the introduction subforum does share the same permissions as every other subforum.

I wrote this stuff, sorry for howling at the moon like that. I'm a shitty loner. Perhaps even the shittiest.

Though, 24 hours is a pretty flame retardant duration of expectations for new player retention. I'm sure somewhere in that wall of angry bullshit I mentioned how important it is to at least have the illusion of feeling welcome. Don't worry I'm not here to help. I'm just getting shit off my mind so I'm able to think straight. Poor quality is, as poor quality does.

yet neither are actually right, the longer i attempt to use language the more disabled i become. i wanna talk to people but as soon as i know what words are things go south. language is cruelest curse of the soul. word covers a word. meanings are hidden under meanings. The entire nature of language is not safe for me and I wish we all simultaneously chose to synchronize cutting out our own tongues with the pushing of our icepicks into the collective amygdalas 4 teh lulz of course, please dont read this
