Older looking websites

I really like the look and feel of older looking websites, it just feels like there's much more community, not to mention the fast load times because you don't get barraged with a giant blob of CSS code that slows down your browser. The average website now feels like a chore to use without a form of adblock extension, and lots of platforms feel soulless despite having lots of users. I like this site because it embodies the things i like about older sites, and so far I've enjoyed all the site's features, but these are just my thoughts.

   Even though I'm too young to remember much of the old net, I do agree with you. Things being less corporate, minimalist, and all that junk that everyone has been copying for too long. Long live simple CSS/HTML.
