Why don't you use VLOOKUP in the pass column ? And use the name of the file as a reference ?

Something like :
=O12=(VLOOKUP(P12;C:H;3;FALSE))+(VLOOKUP(P12;C:H;4;FALSE))+(VLOOKUP(P12;C:H;5;FALSE))+(VLOOKUP(P12;C:H;6;FALSE))
(P being an additional column for file names)

Oh, yeah, haha, whoops. Thanks for the help! I was trying to do something with VLOOKUP earlier but it wasn't doing what I thought it would, but now I see how it's supposed to work. So I tried that in my sheet, and ... it almost completely works, but it doesn't seem to like song names with tildes. But I can change references to the song title to SUBSTITUTE(Q2,"~","~~") where necessary, because it turns out doing that makes song titles that are numbers break. (Didn't think until I came to a snag later that I could have just done an IF to check for tildes, which I have now in column O.)

I have the notecounts ordered by ID now so I can just add new songs onto the end and have everything be in order.

Made a second Pass? column with VLOOKUP that's even with the pasted level ranks, so I won't have to figure out how to use COUNTIFS and SUMIFS when the criteria aren't all in the same row.

Finally finished with all the VLOOKUP stuff, and I've updated it. Now it can be used without having to worry about sorting the pasted ranks in Excel (which would have only taken like five seconds, anyway, haha.)

Interesting! I want to see for mine. Can you make it for me? I'm curious about graphic and zenith score. I just want to know why I was in D3.

Are you sure? On the table I see for you:
Z-Score = 52.72
Z-Score Scaled = 60.39
The current scale for D4 says a minimum of 55.99 and 62.01 respectively. I haven't updated the OP with that yet though :/

You might want to do mine for me because I did it using LibreOffice Calc which is like a really shitty version of Microsoft Excel.

EDIT: Did it in Google Docs and got the same score. Are the song levels supposed to not match up with each other though? Like on the levels sheet I have: Excite Bike listed as the first level on the left but then on the right I have Terror From Beyond.

Yo! Sorry this took so long, I was away for the weekend. I ran your stats and from what you told me in the PM, evidently it worked fine.

Yes, it IS perfectly normal that the first song you saw in column P was "Terror from Beyond". The way the spreadsheet works requires that there be a list of all the public songs, with which it will correctly match the song names up with the note counts for each song.

UPDATE for you and anyone revisiting the thread, you can check the OP under the "News and Progress" spoiler to see what we've been doing.

hmmm, what if you're someone that actively goes for AAAs? I mean my Zenith score seems accurate and I doubt it makes much of a difference, but I wonder if it would be lower if I hadn't purposefully AAAed any song 59 or under (I have almost all of them because I actively tried for them).

Your peak is at 58, and then just below that there is a plateau until difficulty 74, and then it drops off. If you hadn't AAA'd anything after about difficulty 50, it looks like your new peak would have been around 74, which would in fact give you a higher score because the score is derived from values after the peak. In my opinion, your scaled score should probably be higher, and I'll confer with my cohort Silvuh here to see if we can mess with the formula to fix it a bit.

Thank you for bringing that up
