boy today was a lazy day. I just did Bouff then because I didn't want to have nothing come of it

it's about a C, 200 bpm with 16th streamlets, 8th bpm jumplets and scattered 16th triplet into jump patterns

Can you elaborate on why it's "less cool"? If it's a matter of opinion, I'd like to hear what you have to say on it. Otherwise, is it a technical error(s) in the song? (other than the bad jump usage and some PR errors, both of which were taken care of)

Also, it's just an extended remix of the original Turbulence song (even done by the same artist) - there are only so many ways to step it differently. The jumptrills, for example, are one.

I noticed how inconsistent the jump placement was - I fixed that. When you say inconsistent layering, was that what you were referring to? I went through the file again and after fixing the jumps (and improving PR), it seemed fine to me.

However, I don't want to add jacks - I think it'd break the flow of the file in addition to just being retarded, since there would be so many.

i haven't played the file... but if it's just an extended version (or very similar) of the song already in the game... the chart better be fairly different than the one in-game, otherwise there is no reason to add it.

Extended might be the wrong wording - it retains the elements of the old song, but it's a completely new remix, and not just an extended version of the current in-game one. I wouldn't bother to send in the full version of that song (not that there is one).

And yeah, the file is considerably different in several places. The jumpstream is much different than the other, the file has lots of jumptrills, the down-tempo part is a new section, and so forth, while still maintaining some of the original vigor in the old file/song.

god damn. i got 16 emails in from people between 4:30 and 9... and then another 3 between 12:30 and 12:50.

makes 64 emails in my inbox right now. probably ~100 files, +-10%. still have about 40 hours left to submit.
