logging in is a pain in the ass and it will randomly refuse to work because of, I guess, server overload

so yeah first impressions of their online-only system are great!!!!!!!
game seems pretty good although you don't really get far enough to be able to get a good grasp of the classes
basically the beta is too short.

To be fair, I don't think it's going to be this bad at all once the game is out, but still...

This is basically a trial version, a beta version and a server stress test in one. The purpose of this beta is not to be able to play it all, since you get to do that once the full game gets released and you paid for it.

It's still possible to get all 5 characters to level 13 and do everything the content is asking before the end of monday. Exploring all the content, reading/killing everything etc. took me 5 hours. Once you know that and just focus on leveling since it's the same content, you can get the other characters lvl13 in a mere 1.5~2.5 hours by rushing the Skeleton King nonstop in a public game.

What I'm complaining about is not being able to properly try the game out before trying it.
You only get to explore the most basic of abilities, and you really can't get a proper grasp of the characters until the game tells you to piss off.

But why would you even complain if it is exactly what it is, a beta stress test.
Besides, you can reach level 13 and get quite a few spells. I think it's more than okay for a beta trial. I've seen trials with a lot less options or playtime, and this gets you a couple of hours of playtime (longer than a couple of full games even).

Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree on this. Spoke a bit too soon as I was unaware you could simply roll back your quests and re-do shit all over if you wanted to. Level 13 is perfectly enough.

That said, beta tests also double as trials in many cases, so insufficient content would certainly warrant grounds for complaint. I'd already pre-ordered the game though, so whatever.
