[Dubstep] Tetristep

I thought I'd give dubstep another shot. Just had this idea today, it's not that great but I'm proud of it. :P |

Re: [Dubstep] Tetristep
Firstly, the synths feel pretty much empty. Grab some more bass and this will surely be 10 times better :P Secondly, I believe the speed is somewhat inappropriate, given the fact the song already feels a bit empty. I just makes it feel like it drags for 4 minutes. It might be the effect you were looking for, and I have no problem with that! However, I believe Tetris is a song that demands more energy. Finally, interesting song choice, lawl :3
I liked the dubstep elements, though. I might be a bit harsh, but that's only because I'm assured you can make this a lot better with only a couple of tweakings. GO MEGAMON! 6.5/10 Last edited by MarioNintendo; 05-26-2011 at 10:11 PM.. |

Re: [Dubstep] Tetristep
The bass is already loud. Get a subwoofer and you'll hear it. :P I agree about the synths being empty though. It's just that when I beef them up, it drowns out everything else. I wasn't really going for a super intense feel, just something to chill out to.

Re: [Dubstep] Tetristep
This put me to sleep, whole song seemed to drag. This song is not supposed to be this slow. Needs a better bass. Somewhat bland. I mean some things were done 'aight but I give it a sold 5/10.

Re: [Dubstep] Tetristep
I would like to hear that bass in a DnB track, but not so much dubstep. But apposed to everyone else, I liked the mood, it didn't seam bland to me at all.

Re: [Dubstep] Tetristep
You definitely need more bass. And the synth does sound a bit empty, but the bass is lacking by a lot.
and yes, I have a subwoofer
