V2 Songs
What songs do you think deserve or desire a second version?
Me? Classical songs! Revolutionary etude mostly :P. Edit: I didnt know if this was supposed to go here or in the suggestions and complaints (bugs) lol Last edited by razorsoft; 04-12-2009 at 04:24 PM.. |

Re: V2 Songs
I actually thought For FFR deserved a v2. However, after sending in my file, Tass said no.
It's more or less 90% of all files before 2005 that deserve a chance at a v2, though many will not get it due to low demand for v2 output. Also, it's all down to preference of the masses. If a song isn't that great to begin with, a v2 is very, very unlikely. Nanairopanda got a v2 and personally I don't think it needed one, already having a very good file. It's all debatable from any point of view. It's better to send in a v2 only if your file screams awesome, and the song is deserving of it. |

Re: V2 Songs
Runny Morning and Crowdpleaser. (Not because the first one sucks.) I'd like to see the whole song file (With out the hell trill.)
Edit: This is actually a good idea for a thread like this. You should keep a count of how many votes there are for songs that are brought up. |

Re: V2 Songs
Molto.
Can't really think of anything off the top of my head. I'm sure there's a bunch of easy files I would like hard files for. Edit: Lift Up, All of the World, Color of Giggles. Too lazy to go through public songs because there's just so many songs I don't remember and don't feel like listening to each of them. This game needs more -API- Last edited by II ViRiZ II; 04-12-2009 at 07:42 PM.. |

Re: V2 Songs
I think I should attempt to restep Halcyon and The Color of Battle by SGX. Those file's really need a huge overhaul.

Re: V2 Songs
You know what File Really needs a V2? Death Piano. Not because it sucks but because it'd make a good file.

For FFR needs a V2. Most blue arrow syndrome songs need v2's. Trisection needs a v2.

Re: V2 Songs
Agreed, Most of the really old songs (like the first 20 or 30 in dance) should get a second version.

Re: V2 Songs
Yeah as long it isn't one long jack.
But I totally agree.

Re: V2 Songs
One long jack in trisection would actually be technically inaccurate. The low notes are interrupted whenever it plays a higher one, so it would be more like 1231131121141131123411311211 etc

Re: V2 Songs
Well I've done most of the SFYT v2 file in Notepad.
Now I just need to somehow find the mp3 of the song to sync it up and double-check the PR of the jacks, etc. |
