Re: Proxy site for your schools
You know what,
Your schools aren't that stupid If they find this site, they will block it, just like any other proxy site, TRUST ME |

Re: Proxy site for your schools
I dont see why schools feel the need to block such random websites. Are the administrators really looking for websites like ffr to block or is it automated to block every non educational site that is frequently visited.

Re: Proxy site for your schools
I'm pretty sure it's not really the content of FFR (because we are content Nazis) but rather the popups and fear of unnecessary or harmful programs being loaded onto the school network.

Re: Proxy site for your schools
I doubt they look that far into it. They might figure out its a game site and then just block it without caring about popups or harmful content.

Re: Proxy site for your schools
My highschool's favourite thing to do was just reimage the computers every night. So as long as we didn't mind having to re-install, redownload, or otherwise re-access everything we might want to do each day, we could pretty much do what we wanted.

Re: Proxy site for your schools
My school uses an automated blocking system that blocks anything pertaining to games, media, adult content (obviously), proxies, etc. The only things we can get on are search engines and educational sites.
That said, I'm thinking that I might try studenteducation.net next time I feel like going on FFR at school. Also, I haven't tried loading Firefox from a flash drive, so I don't know if the blocking system is IE-only or if it's set up to deny Internet access from any browser. |

Re: Proxy site for your schools
Same with my school, but it was a program that basically once you restart, every thing reverted back to normal. Then we just dragged the folders for games onto flash drives so no installation required. They also blocked a site if you logged in to it so I could not log in for it to record my scores.

Re: Proxy site for your schools
All the mirrors redirect to the main site for my server at my school, which is blocked, which sucks cow anus. Most, if not all, proxy sites are also blocked.
Someone make a diff site with just the flash object for ffr gogogo
