Its all jumpstreams so either way I am gonna barely be able to play it lol. No matter what I am screwed. I like the song and it's probably stepped very well, but I figured the finals file would be more of a technical file :/

Oh well... I guess I am gonna try to randomly get good at jumpstreams in a week... It was a nice run and I am happy with getting top 3!

EDIT: rewatched the preview and I appreciate that there a little jacks thrown in here and there lol
EDIT #2: not trynna bring down the file and say its bad. It's awesome. it just plays into my worst skillset so I kinda just have no chance this round lol.

It's probably because we know who are the clear winners for most divisions lol. D7 seems to be the closest competition right now.

I am really hoping that there will be some last minute underdog performances. It will spice the story up well haha.

I was actually really hype for most of the charts this tournament. It's really a shame to see that being said but, I've said it before and I'll say it again if you guys can do a better job please by all means run tournaments. Would be nice for there to be more going on.

I understand why he is a little bothered simply because it's the OT. We could all run tourney's until we're collapsing from exhaustion, but the one everyone cares about at the end of the day... is the OT.

It's hard to please everyone and there will unfortunately never be a way to. However, as I'm sure you know having been doing this so long, criticism can often lead to huge improvements. Maybe there could be a discord discussion done after each OT moving forward. Things like file choice and difficulty could be openly debated on and could result in improvements that nobody would have thought of in the past.

Maybe a more open discussion could also lead to ideas that would improve retention rates from tourney to tourney (maybe even getting more people involved). I'd be very interested in seeing what a large group of people from this awesome community would be able to come up with instead of forcing all the workload onto a small group of dedicated admin.

That being said, I personally really enjoyed this tournament. I went from 49 to almost 56. Like half my top 15 are now 13th OT files lol. Most of the songs chosen for D2 were goddamn bops and I am so appreciative of that. I only really didn't like CHERRY DOLL and Oedo Pop (simply the songs themselves not the files). Hopefully next year I can be in D4!

Literally has nothing to do with workload, these are the files submitted to us. don't like em? sub files then to help (I'm saying this as an in general because people always want to complain but then don't actually bother to submit or the like)

I'm sure there are plenty of people who used to love what this site once was who want to see activity and well run tournaments. I would love to be in a position to run a tournament with all new content for the community, but you built up such a wall around this glorious title of "Tournament Organizer" locking yourself into running it alone and then when people complain about very evident problems, you just say we should be appreciative? Valid criticism should be taken as a sign that people still care about a properly run tournament being fun and fair. You've made it abundantly clear numerous times that you hold 100% of the power and decision making over this tournament but when a file like Circle Pit is very poorly slotted it's suddenly AJ's fault for giving you the rating so you say go talk to AJ? You absolve yourself of blame on a very regular basis. Mistakes happen, nobody is perfect, own up to it for once or admit that you don't do as much as you claim to do. If you were willing to address the areas that you aren't completely comfortable with doing, which is fine, people would be able to step in and make the tournament as a whole a lot funner and cleaner.

This site is never going to be what it once was because of how poorly run it currently is and your refusal to accept help from anybody competent.

I think you should keed that kind of comment to yourself or private message the aporopriate person, because this was just harsh.I think Kayla and AJ are the heart of FFR and deserve respect. If you really want to help FFR join the staff.

Yikes. My intention wasn't to be harsh, it was to get a point across that has been building over this community for many years now. It's clear nothing changes every single year because somehow the same problems keep coming up. I'm not trying to shit all over Kayla, I'm truly not. It's just evident that staff roles are being gate kept and only people they like are allowed to help. I'm definitely not alone in thinking this as I've been DM'd by MULTIPLE people thanking me for posting what I did. It's been like 20 minutes or something.. The community is clearly frustrated and every single attempt at criticism is met with "you're just ungrateful" or "I guess I can stop doing tournaments" but nobody is asking for this, they're asking for problem areas to be addressed.

In regards to the second statement of yours, Kayla has made it very clear how she feels about me over the years. I would love nothing more than to help. I know with certainty she would never "allow" me to be on staff.

You're the one who came after me because someone got banned over something, you harassed me on my social medias and even went out of your way to say I should kill myself in the C6 chat.
