The United States did not deserve to win this game. There were two defensive mistakes that caused them to lose their lead, and they failed to provide any challenge when taking their penalties. They did control the majority of the game, and both of their goals were good goals. As much as I would have liked to see them win, they did not deserve it.

Apparently Japan can't play fair. Japan desperately tackling a USA player right outside the box on a breakaway to stop a potential score? Yeah...Japan didn't deserve it.

I am very glad the Americans did not win, although it initially seemed like it they had the edge. Go Japan.

Remember when US beat Brazil in shootouts? Now the US team feels the sting. Ouch.

We got owned. Congrats to Japan though.

Apparently a lot of douches were tweeting "Japs" and "Pearl Harbor" during the game. Wtf?

If anyone actually watched the game, you would know that Japan cheated. They intentionally tripped one of our players just outside the penalty box so we wouldn't potentially score. They didn't deserve the trophy.

Probably alludes to the same insults regarding the Japan tsunami. The American patriotism is overwhelming. It's like some people still have a grudge since WWII.
