I personally think lyrics are the least important part of music. I'm a huge fan of instrumentals, mainly because I think anyone who can portray emotion and art in music is just amazing. Anyone can make you feel depressed by singing about something dark and depressing. Now play something to make people cry. It's a lot harder. If the song "Every Rose Has its Thorn" had the lyrics taken out, you think anyone would have given the song a second thought? Nope.
