Galaga!
I was bored, so I searched up Galaga. I had only thought of it because I was in an arcade the other day, and I saw it.(I had no quarters, damn it) So I searched it up, found a link to the game, and I've been playing it for a while, you may have known about this already, but I'm showing it to FFR, ha.
Yes. Have fun with this classic. Last edited by ~HentaiXXX~; 03-6-2009 at 05:54 PM.. |

**** yes Galaga. <3 I always loved the double ship during bonus rounds, and the simple music. A few times I beat the whole game and looped again through it.

Re: Galaga!
If I remember correctly I used to play Galaga for the ATARI. Yes, the Atari. And it was one of my favorites, easily. This, and Galaxian (I like Galaxian a little more, but Galaga's awesome).
And like blazzed said, there is an NES port as well which I've tried. |

Re: Galaga!
I used to play on one in the food court at the mall at my previous house. Was pretty cool to eat then get to play Galaga or Ms. Pacman at the same time.

Re: Galaga!
There are a lot of great modern shooters done in this style. I love the originals, but the new shooters really do a lot for me.

Re: Galaga!
I love the originals, but I prefer the more "modern" ones because of the graphics, and because some even have storylines, like Touhou. The concept is the same but the additional bits and pieces added these days improve the genre as a whole.

Re: Galaga!
This was the third NES game I ever played, first two being Mario and Metroid.
My parents got it for me because they liked the arcade game. They even got me the arcade controller!!

Re: Galaga!
Namco Museum vol. 1 for PSX, has Galaga, and I still play it. I think the farthest I got in Galaga was like level 32 with 3 lives only. I couldn't seem to do level 19's challenging stage, but I was able to get 40s on all the other ones.

Re: Galaga!
Pew-pew. What's with the 8000 digit high scores? They're ridiculous, but the game is still incredible.
