All the hope from me that the wound won't become worse, as I'm a serious cat person.

That reminded me of when my female cat just got fixed, but she was jumping around all day and her stitches opened back up on her belly, and she got a hernia or something according to the vet.

The cat looks more pissed at you, for taking the photo... doesn't really seem bothered by the gash.
