Re: Canon in WHEE
It's not a problem. I know that I was on the blanket permission list (and I never recall giving permission there either >_>), and I requested that if someone wanted to step my songs that they should pm my old account, mr_bunraku, for clarification. However, during the whole lost password fiasco I had to create a new account, rendering that request null and void almost as soon as it had been taken into account.
All I'd like is to be informed from now on, especially when the files in question are competing with the versions in my FlightMix pack

Re: Canon in WHEE
Well, I'm also stepping Death of Morality, and that's it so far. Is that okay?
And I would be glad to give you my steps to never gonna give you up 8bit. Now that they've been rejected from FFR, I've been looking for somewhere for them to go. They're very good steps, too.

I really liked it. Fine as it is, I say.

Re: Canon in WHEE
our apologies then if it was used without permission... i'd have to do some digging to figure out when/how your name got onto the permissions list if you didn't give permission. possibly some misunderstanding, or possibly just forgetfulness.
regardless, hopefully you still enjoy the simple steps that hi19 used for the song. i've heard nothing but positives in regards to the song itself.

Re: Canon in WHEE
Regardless of whether permission was put up or not.
I just want to say. THANK YOU. I started playing this and was politely amazed by the step file being a nice relaxing piece (Although I still suck, being only able to play <=9 difficulty songs) This was a refreshing piece to have. Both the stepfile and music were awesome and I've now been playing this for a good while now as relxation. You both rock, both the stepper and author. |
