[4K Dump] The Great Divide (Crash Cove Remix)
Yep, Rebecca Black. Trust me, this song far supersedes anything she has ever done before. Anyway, about the chart -- it's very technical overall. I rated it a 24 based off of the SML scaling in Fullerene Shift: running at 130 BPM, it's got a respectable amount of 32nd stream that is rather uncomfortable to control at lower tempos, but is spaced out enough on each finger individually, making it highly scalable on rates. The drops of the song stress polyrhythmic finger independence, forcing balance of 16th mini-jacks on one hand while balancing 24th note mini-trills on the other, and also have some bits of 32nd note mini-trilling as well. A few 48th note bursts are dispersed throughout the song for emphasized vocals, too. This is a good introduction to speed training/control, but also is somewhat challenging to maintain solid accuracy on as a higher level player as well. I actually had a good time making this dump chart. Hopefully it's as fun to play to you guys as it is to me. |

This one was released a few days ago. It ended up on my recommended videos on YouTube for some reason, so I gave it a listen. I was pleasantly surprised.
