Default The Big Change.

Regarding the "avmiss" update,

I was wondering, as most of the people who have encountered the battles against avoiding framers/avmisses/whatever you want to call it, how FFR would really execute this extraordinary change. It is imminent that this feature will be updated, so before public access and permanent scores are overwritten, I simply suggest that a historical shrine of sorts be created for the FFR players' scores that will no longer exist. Tons of effort have been put into the "avmiss" FFR, and all those scores will be wiped. The only people that can view them would be the people that decide to save them themselves... But why save them when you can't show them off? That is the point to getting a high score, right? Why not have a section of the website about the "old" FFR. R1 will never be the same again... so I think the admins should recognize these scores somehow if possible.

Thanks for making a new thread when this subject has been brought up in several others already. Good job.

Also, I disagree. No old score should be treated ANY different than any new score obtained.

Those scores won't be wiped unless the people who got them decide to replay the songs and improve their scores. Up to you which is more important. Keeping your original "I got this with avmisses" score there, or improving your score in a game that runs the way it is supposed to.

Makes me sad and happy at the same time. Like letting your children go off to college T_T; (I have no idea what that's like though)

Has anyone played Albatross18/Pangya? From the update of Season 2 to Season 3, they have a completely separate record of each. If you had never played Season 2, then all your stats would be shown in the Season 3 panel. I still think FFR should keep the old scores before releasing new ones. It can't hurt, can it?

i agree and disagree at the same time. it lets people get better scores but at the same time forces old players to play songs again....i like it when people can say OMG i nailed the megajack on CP. not wow i just mashed the megajack and FC'D it
