hmm probably renting a room at my buddy's for a cool 500 every month, i have multiple sources of income (which are all legal mind you hahaha) but im prob moving to another city within the next 2 years.

well YA i have some stuff already ill probably go to a few garage sales in the spring but im fine with modest furnishings for now.. i like space, and i can wait awhile to buy that 2000 dollar armchair heheh

get in the habit of doing stuff around the place constantly. letting your apt go to shit takes little to no time and unless you get in a routine it'll keep coming back haha. go light on the furniture, just get what's really necessary (esp. since you plan on leaving in 2 years)
also feeding yourself at home is cheaper, though from the sounds of it capital isn't an issue. if you have roommates, be sure to let them know your expectations for upkeep of the place. also be sure they contribute monetarily and have decent work ethics.
