Pop n' music simulator found finally!!!!
I FINALLY FOUND THE SIMULATOR!!!!!!!!!! http://prdownloads.sf.net/stepmania/20031219pnm1.zip
This is another pop'n simulator called Step'n Music. Pros: It's made by the team responsible for Stepmania. It's very easy to set up, use and customise. It has a built-in editor so you can make your own songs with notemaps. It can use BMS, DWI or SM files, so all your songs from stepmania will still work, with autogenned pop'n notes. Cons: It doesn't support keysounds How to use: Download the .zip, unzip it, copy and paste your Stepmania's "songs" folder into the "20031219pnm1" folder (if you have stepmania, if not, create a new folder called songs and put some simfiles in, explained below). Then go into the "program" folder and doubleclick stemania.exe. Simple as that. The default keys are: Red = C Left blue = D Right blue = F Left Green = X Right Green = V Left Yellow = S Right Yellow = G Left White = Z Right White = B See how they're shaped like a pop'n music controller? =) How to install songs to Step'n music: Ok, when you downloaded step'n music, and unzipped it, there's one folder with subfolders like Theme, Program etc. You want to add a folder in with them, named Songs. Then, inside Songs, create another folder titled "Pop'n Officials" or something like that. You can also create folders for different pop'n games, or different original creators, but since there is hardly any coverage of pop'n simfiles, just "Pop'n Officials" should do. Now, the simfiles should be in a folder within the zip file, with the genre title. If this is the case, just drag it into "Pop'n Originals" and it's ready to play. If not, create a folder for it in "Pop'n originals" and drag the files into that. (sorry if this sounds a little patronising, but I've found that a lot of people need this kind of expanation) |
