Rates have nothing to do with the judgement window. Playing on X1.5 for example isn't like playing on judge 7 or something.

i know they dont i just meant thats what he meant by hard mode, not making it harder with rates

pushing ur speed isnt the only way to make something harder, some people push to improve their accuracy

also i figured he was referring to the hard rock mod in osu which tightens the timing window

Also, unlockable courses would be kind of cool. I don't know if they'd be their own file type (public, token, courses) or just be special tokens, or purchasable, but it would be interesting to see. Maybe TGWPFE would be moved into that category. It would give stepartists an interesting challenge too.

I heard on the tourny song preview stream that there will be new ways to unlock vrofl coming soon considering that that new 255 difficulty song is being released for top 8 finishes.

I'd like to suggest having <500 average rank as an option to unlock vrofl. That would indicate a huge dedication to the game as well as a skill level of at least high expert. There are currently 174 players who meet this requirement. 0 of whom are D1 to D3. Only 5 of them are D4.

I think adding this unlock requirement would create a nice feeling of progression as you get PBs, inching you closer and closer to one day getting 500 AR.

Even if you needed <500 AR + Coactive, Tell, Dendrite v2, 10 billion GT etc. that would be great.

I do like the idea, I think it would incentivize people to play more of the game. I would say to make it average rank of 500 or less AND have a positive score on every public song.

Side note, I've had an average rank of under 500 since at least May of 2012 when there were 1,099 public songs in game and I was about D3 level. I have always whored my level ranks, and there were a lot less difficult songs back then.

Oh god lol. I'd like to get it one day but my skills are too specialized to ever place top 8, I don't want to self harm with the billion, and 50 billion is a little ridiculous. So being able to grind average rank for weeks and months to unlock it would be satisfying.

We get the asterisk in the level ranks for a FC, can we get something designating a pass? I'd be interested to know if I had even a single song with a quit/fail out. It could just check if the P-G-A-M counts add up to the total song's notes.

Add some kind of checkbox option or other method if possible next to the search filter where you can look up one single file by their exact title instead of including everything containing the keyword/substring. Without taking account of the possibility of going through the entire song list to find it's difficulty, it is impossible to efficiently find 1-character files such as L (being released today) by using the search option only, especially if they're tokens.

So a couple of things that I think would be nice for the game, one of them cosmetic, the other for charters. The first idea that I had was someway on this website for charters to see how their chart would play in game, much like the bot judges use, but accessible to the whole community. Second, and this is purely cosmetic, is to apply Hexadecimal to the color options for the arrows.

Honestly I would love to have some sort of favoriting system that isn't the queue. AFAIK, the queue works by playing all the songs you put in it in a row. I see how that could be useful, but what if you wanna save a song for later? That would be the main purpose of the Favorite system: to save songs so that you can find your favorite files quickly and easily. Also, as an aesthetic thing, favorites could have a star next to them in the main menu.

Feature request: Batch credit transfers

Modify the Credit Transfer page as follows:

- Place the username, credits, and description all on a single line visually and add a button/link to add an additional entry that triggers JavaScript to clone the fields (with no content in them).
- For subsequent entries beyond the first one, add an additional button/link after the "add" button/link that will remove the currently added entry.
- Add validation that does not allow users to continue to add entries when they haven't filled out a username and credit amount for all users prior to clicking said add button.

EDIT:
- Add additional validation that ensures that the total number of credits to be transacted in the batch is less than the number of credits that the associated account has.
