I quit stepmania for a bit and then I come back and this pack progress seems to be exactly the same as before

"no famous artists" and "strict judging" don't mix

is it just me or did the number of accepted files go down from 6 to 4?

guys I think you should tutor your submitters

send them to stepmania boot camp, don't let them out until they produce quality

One of the simfile makers (Ferrari93) asked for his files to be removed from the pack. Don't ask me why.

I think at this point we've pretty much proven the inevitable.
We should probably make our reviews public. It'd be more of a convenience to the stepper, allowing them to know what to fix without having to personally ask a judge.

People are way more willing to fix files if they know what to fix and can easily ask for clarification. Making our reviews public will probably help. /lastditchefforttosavethepack

i know i was for the first bunch of files i judged, but then dragoonhead said that we should have a private forum to post reviews in.

i protested. dh was all ya w/e
all the reviews are in a private board on sandshrewhero; admin has to let you view the board. currently, if a step author wants to see their review, they have to ask a judge to copypaste the thread for that file.

more of a hassle than it's worth tbh, and not just for judges. i'll probably crosspost my reviews from now on.

To give step authors something they can freely ask questions about. They don't learn anything if they don't ask and don't know what they can do to improve.

Besides, most of them are probably too lazy to send any judge a pm for reviews.

yeah i got my files pulled sorry. i just got them pulled because i jus didn't want them to get unplayed.

ps once again u should totally make me a judge...i'm better at judging files than you think.

Yah, I know he's a good stepper.

I might make mediocore files, but I can get better (Just not in the mood a lot to step original songs). (I'm just a beginner lol)
