Dat score... is the kind of score that would make me never want to play a song again lol. SOOOO close to a AAA that I consider them the same thing. GJ.

Dream of Scarlet was one of my first 9 AAA pretty sure... you almost had it!!
It's short so just remember that lots of people gets BFs before polishing off the AAA (not that it would make you want to play it anymore lol) Some 9 AAAs of my own!! : The really hard, short ones Got a blackflag on Teh Tricky Techno too Last edited by Sweagen; 05-7-2011 at 10:03 PM.. |

Re: Amateur FFR Scores!
Blinded, you REALLY need to change your speed mod. Playing at 1x is just brutal, and makes everything a million times harder. Check your settings ingame, I suggest moving up gradually, i.e. 1.25, then 1.5, eventually getting to 1.75. You'll see it helps a lot.

Re: Amateur FFR Scores!
with screencutting 1x is totally possible... I've tried it before and it worked out fine for me...
I do feel like playing on a higher speedmod would probably help him improve a lot, though |

Re: Amateur FFR Scores!
I know, I tried changing it but as soon as I closed the options menu it reverted back to 1.

Re: Amateur FFR Scores!
I think this is my first AAA of a MOSAIC.WAV song. I love their music but they tend to have some pretty hard files :P I'm not sure how I did it since there seems to be a lot of transitions from 8ths to 12ths, which usually costs me a few goods, but I got lucky and pulled this one off. <3 Token AAAs. Blinded: That's a DAMN good BB Revenge for 1x speed :O Your BB Euro is excellent too. I'm interested in seeing how good you are with higher mods since you have SM experience. FFR's timing is a bit different, but once you get used to it you'll be an ace player, considering your scores on 1x. That speed is an incomprehensible tangle of arrows to me. Re: Amateur FFR Scores!
So close to my real first C AAA ( got Yoshie's Cookie but i still don't understand why it's a 9 :/ ), but my over sensitive keyboard and a randomn average decides otherwise ~~

Re: Amateur FFR Scores!
^ Very nice work.
Yoshi's Cookie is one of the lower 9s, I think. Course, it may just be deceptively hard like Tetris Remix (which used to be an 8) and needs moved down, but I really don't think it does, given the finger speed needed. Also, close that tag for the love of humanity EDIT: Blinded holy smokes that's insane

Re: Amateur FFR Scores!
How can you be any kind of precise with 0.75? You will EASILY have better PA with a higher speedmod and some practice. Trust me. I went from 1.5 to 1.75 (like, last year) and my PA got doubly better, i.e. I played a song on 1.5 and I got say 70 goods, then I played on 1.75 and got like 30-35 goods. It helps A LOT.

Re: Amateur FFR Scores!
I seriously thought I lost this one SO MANY times at the end. It was one of those songs where your conscious mind stops thinking but your hands keep moving. This is the luckiest AAA I've ever gotten.
