Mine is is actually parts of my name, hopefully effective enough to have a meaning of it's own.

That was one thing I wonder though. When someone sees a name like Cutie3875, many people just roll their eyes. There are many other impressions people get from names that are more original, but I always wondered what impressions people had when seeing my name.

The name's self explanitory... but I'll say it anyways. It's a reference to Super Mario and my name is Mario. I know Über means "over", not "super" in German, but it sounds close enough and alot of people misuse it like that anyways.

It's also a name that doesn't have something like "sexy" or "69" or any other repeated username pre/suffixes.

Some people tend to look at other people's names and get an impression of you. Your name, along with your siggies and avatars you tacked on, give the sole perception of who and what you are. Common names like "azn" or "cutie" infer that you are that kind of person wanting to be popular, have MySpace and that sort. Original names give an impression of individualism; shows that you aren't that average Joe. It makes them feel like you're cool and L33t, or whatever it is. Post count has a good deal of effect to the mind. Low post counts are perceived as new people, n00bs, or younger people that came on the forums yesterday. High post counts can infer that they're like older brothers & sisters online, a sign that you know much here. And tags like "Moderator" or "Site Admin" are meant to tell us they're higher-ups and respected as such.
My ideas are just one point of view and filled of bias, but there are a lot of a people who would feel like me. A casual poster who never saw you before here would probably know your Screen Name and only that, so he or she will build her ideas & posts in the thread partly around you and others. A first impression leaves a mark, you know.
