my statement saying i probably wouldn't want someone who didn't know this was a keyboard pack or that keyboard packs (with the exception of some noteworthy joke packs) aren't concerned with attaining a bunch of files of a certain difficulty, but rather difficulties that best reflect the songs themselves was merely acknowledging the improbability of someone who didn't know these things coming out of nowhere as a stand-out simfile author.

the amount of times i've seen someone come entirely out of the woodwork displaying great file-makin skills has been one (amy), and that person obviously knew a great deal beforehand (or had the common sense to know that difficulty should be song- not pack-dependent)

i obviously acknowledge the possibility that you (or someone else who didn't know how hard to make their files) could be a great simfile author in hiding, waiting for this moment to strike, it's just pretty unlikely is all ;o;

It can take forever too. I thought I found one song but later found out that GLoVE already stepped it.

Oh and I'm submitting TSoT. I figured some arbitrary drum placement could be permitted just to maintain fluence. Jacks consisting of both drums and guitar don't flow well IMO.

yo semi-arbitrary drum placement is good. this isn't drummania and you're not expected to maintain perfect consistency

It's impossible to do too. When you're stepping several instruments symultaniously with only 4 columbs things will inevitably get compromised.

*edit* When's the OP gonna get updated?

if you step something with a freeze and step a snare drum in the middle of the freeze it's more interesting to not make it a jack.
