Re: BlackWebb Wishlist [Vote Now!]
main problem with the widgets was making them separate, not part of the game

Re: BlackWebb Wishlist [Vote Now!]
-Remove boo's
There is no need for boos if averages cause you to lose combo. -Average causes combo break So that mash scores can't result in full combo's. -Raw scoring system So full combo scores with all averages aren't superior to full perfects and 1 miss. -Backward compatible Being able to use all of ffr's .swf files would be amazing. |

Re: BlackWebb Wishlist [Vote Now!]
i would say keep boos, because it doesn't punish too heavily while preventing someone from getting an AAA by doing a mistap and such
and averages causing combo break would render songs such as.. death piano / rato / revo etude / etc virtually impossible to full combo for 99.99% of all players raw scoring system however, i do support. |

Re: BlackWebb Wishlist [Vote Now!]
Those songs shouldn't be full comboable in the first place. If you had to mash any part of the song than there is no reason you should be able to keep your combo. This wouldn't matter assuming it was raw scoring.

Re: BlackWebb Wishlist [Vote Now!]
By "widget songs" I meant "long generic soft-rock songs that take forever to AAA" but I guess they're not that bad.

what would be nice though is if we had some website like last.fm support us and take widgets into account (maybe embed) but that's a longshot :P |

Re: BlackWebb Wishlist [Vote Now!]
Okay, here we go.
ACC: Perf/Good/Avg/Miss/Boo - I enjoy this way, it has just grown on me after 6 years and I can't really escape it. Plus, every other rhythm game has the other way with marv / perf etc. It just seems like that's run its course in my opinion. DIFF: Single Difficulty per Song (Absolute!) - Again what defines FFR. Some songs may have a [Light], [Standard], [Heavy], or [Oni] version but most of the songs don't need to have second files; usually it is only made in cases like Otaku Heavy/Oni because they were difference rewards, or a v2 is made for a file someone considers to be off, or "bad". ARR: 4 Arrows Only - If someone wanted 6 arrows there are plenty of other games for it; 4 is enough and I feel it could stay that way without disappointing any active members of the community. MULT: 2 or MORE Player Multiplayer - Well let's face it, a lot of games don't offer a multiplayer, and the ones that do it's usually a 2+. I feel like this gives the option to play against a friend or play for levels, or to just have a group of friends or an FFR party (for all the FFR-nerds like me that would enjoy that). It just stretches the possibilities of what's possible on FFR, and I like that general concept. HOLDS - You must give a very good reason below! - Yes yes yes, in most cases I usually hate actually playing them, but whether or not I admit it - they are fun! They make for much MUCH more accurate stepfiles and if a song has an extended note, then I feel like there should be an extended step. Sometimes on FFR I've made the mistake of holding a long note at the beginning of a song and I failed out. However with this added thing the whole boo-concept could be a little out of whack and I don't want that, I prefer keeping the boos! |

Re: BlackWebb Wishlist [Vote Now!]
CRAP. I didn't realize we could vote for more than one thing when I voted. /Sad.
Perf/Good/Ave/Miss/Boo - So much love <3 4 Arrows Only - Solo is nice, but not for FFR. 2 or more MP - Why not? (other than rofllag) Replacement files (not in Multiple Choice) - Clearly the widget files we have are crap. The poor simartists didn't get much of a choice and were pretty much forced into crapping up something yucky and 4 minutes long. I'd be perfectly fine with keeping the song, if we replaced the charts with newer versions (same goes with Legacy; Damn you SYNTH FILES. Though we should still keep the old legacy files just for the "Legacy", not the old widgets.) EDIT: ROFL while I'm at it, I may as well ask for the return of Video Chat. Obviously this is going to be ignored indefinately, but why the hell not?

We still have a lot of our old video chat moderators. When VC comes back, they'll be inseparable from it.

Re: BlackWebb Wishlist [Vote Now!]
Yeah, it's also not that hard to find a VidChat regular that can mod it. Anywho, something I would like to bring up again so I know if I should skin it for BlackWebb, are we going to arrange a wager system for credits on MP games? I think it would be a fun option for those who watch MP games.

Re: BlackWebb Wishlist [Vote Now!]
Step One: Create game that works.
Step Two: Add useless things that hook people on the game. Current Step: 0, start. (jk, but yah have not started multiplayer yet)

Re: BlackWebb Wishlist [Vote Now!]
ACC: Perf/Good/Avg/Miss/Boo
~I see no reason to add Marvelous DIFF: Multiple Difficulty per Song (On one menu) ~I don't always feel like playing brutal songs and would make the game more approachable ARR: 4 or 6 arrows on some songs ~Not really needed, but could add an enjoyable twist MULT: 2 or MORE Player Multiplayer ~Makes the game more competitive, and that's what multiplayer is for. HOLDS - You must give a very good reason below! ~There are alot of songs that make more sense when holds are added. However, it should be adjustable. |

Re: BlackWebb Wishlist [Vote Now!]
Accuracies: I dun give a fuc, I make files not play them. Voted Marv because I could.
Difficulties: Multiple per file PLEASE. #1 thing I've wanted for FFR Arrows: Definitely 4-key only. Solo is a different beast entirely; we also have KeYBeAt for that Multiplayer: Dun care Mines: **** NO Holds: eh, I don't really want em but I don't mind if they get put in. Whatever

Re: BlackWebb Wishlist [Vote Now!]
IMO, keybeat is deadbeat for who knows how long. If it stays like this, solo might as well be stashed into such a category forever where people basically want solo to stay at a site that has shown very slow activity.
