Re: A List of ALL the Songs in the FFR Queue
Did you send it after March 4th?
If the answer is yes: get it Also, if you think three Melonman's OP's are crazy, consider this: 1. There are two Cold Breath files that were rejected, one understepped, one overstepped. 2. I made one and submitted it. 3. Rebirth made one and submitted it on the same day as mine IIRC. So there are FOUR Cold Breath, two of which have yet to be judged. edit: haha mine's gonna be rejected for inconsistent difficulty tass don't download it it's a piece of crap

Ah, maybe I can call up my friend and have him send it to you. I'm currently not home, so the I don't have the files, but I'm pretty sure my friend has an updated version of Zephon.

Re: A List of ALL the Songs in the FFR Queue
Melonman's OP - 16th jumpstream doesn't really fit the song, and FFR. The 8th jumps are a little much as well. I can somewhat see what they go to but this is FFR, the files need to be different than those made for SM. I'm also questioning some of the 16th streams that end in a 24th stream. I'm not sure of those are right or not, but I didn't look into it to see
Delta Beat (Standard) - The song is overstepped. Maybe even stepped more than necessary for an SM simfile. The double gallop things would be alright if the 4 note 16th double thing were something like 3 single arrows then a jump at the end. I also noticed at aroud measure 70, that you have the 8th stream with jumps in it. I think that part shouldn't have any jumps in it, and shouldn't be a big 8th stream. Growth - It was repetitive. I didn't see jumps where I thought there should be, and jumps where there didn't need to be any. I didn't even hear the 16th triplets you put in there either. I just don't think this song should be stepped Absence of Light - Also something that shouldn't really be stepped, the song doesn't support any kind of stepchart. So with that in mind, I can't really give a great review of the steps. The steps weren't very good from what I saw holy **** the reviews are longer than I expected them to be, but big deal. It helps the simfile artist. Damn Tass, I had no problem at all giving longer reviews for the simfiles. I wouldn't have a problem with doing it for 50 - 80 sims either, seeing as how you have a week to do it. |

One more question: How come my question before this one hasn't been answered?

Re: A List of ALL the Songs in the FFR Queue
the list was updated earlier on this very page. i updated it yesterday.
Rebirth: it isn't about having an entire week to do it... it isn't like every time i get a new file, i download it and test it. i download an entire week's worth together, then play them all in 1 or 2 sittings. regardless... you're going to continue with your feelings no matter what i say. to the Cold Breath people... yea. 4 is a lot. although we've easily had 4 or 5 people step Blaze, Harry Potter Techno, and most of all... AAA. and we've YET to get a queueworthy AAA. and oh yea... FFR4EVA... i appreciate your attempt... but you're flat wrong in this instance. i stated right above your post that it was my fault on his file. it should have been in the above batch.

In my stepchart they all fall on 4ths either way. I have absolutely no idea what could fluctuate between the songs to make it that way, but they're definitely 4th notes. |

Re: A List of ALL the Songs in the FFR Queue
Well, I'm not going to complain about how and when you play the files. I think it would make you feel better about playing stuff if you, say, played submissions from the first two days on the second night of the week then did the same thing two days later with the submissions from days 3 and 4 or something like that. But, it's your choice. I personally, wouldn't think twice about doing 20 files every 2 days instead of 50 - 70 files all at once.

We don't do them in one sitting right now...usually two.
Biggest problem for me is logistics, because playing windowed makes my SM run at a horrible FPS, so I have to write everything by hand.

Re: A List of ALL the Songs in the FFR Queue
Okay, well, uhhm... In the queue update, it was said about my {Sunlight file}... "parts overstepped, 16ths understepped"... Are the overstepped parts the parts when I did jumpstream or the part where I put jumps on the purple notes, or, uhh... elsewhere... And how are 16ths understepped? If I put any more steps on them, then they'd be jumpstreams, which would be "overstepped"... Sorry for the questioning, I'm just a bit confused about how to make it queue-worthy, is all.

As Tass said to me, neither he nor Shash would remember the specifics. The only thing he has are some notes written when judging the song. Request them.

Silvuh: There are TONS of 16ths in the song that you totally ignore. I think it'd be a much better file if you didn't ignore them.
And I think the overstepped part was the jumpstream part, if there is one.

Re: A List of ALL the Songs in the FFR Queue
Oooooohhhhh, okay, stupid me. I thought, like, there were sixteenths there that were undertsepped, but what you meant was sixteenths that aren't there, resulting in it being understepped... Hahahaa, okay. Thanks for that. Now just to figure out where exactly to... add... those... sixteenths... Heh... Seriously, thank you, though.

Re: A List of ALL the Songs in the FFR Queue
i write everything out by hand anyway... actually didn't even ever think to write my notes out in notepad.
this way, i have all my past notes right on hand. easy to access past comments on songs that are re-submitted to see which parts to focus on.

Re: A List of ALL the Songs in the FFR Queue
Windowed SM, testing in the editor with autoplay and assist tick with a notepad file right next to SM so you can make notes
You guys actually play the files. If you look at them in autoplay (and assist tick if you want, I always do it to check for sync) you can see how good or bad the file really is. You're not concentrating on your score, you'd be concentrating on looking at the steps and how and what they go to the music. Also, if there's a small sync problem, F11 and F12. They're your friends. Re: A List of ALL the Songs in the FFR Queue
On State of Emergency, the oni steps should be added.
It's actually R3 (Omega Mix). Also, did you guys get my {Run for the Hills}? Edit: Oh yeah, can you guys take SSSG v2 and Spontaneous Hydroxide v2 out of queue? I found some things I wanted to change with them.

Rebirth: I would absolutely hate judging files if I just watched them in autoplay. At least playing them is fun. Also, I don't miss sync problems anymore, though maybe I'll miss it if it's one or two notes.
