Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Stepping PTH is really annoying. So many time changes. Beat 1's landing on E. so I have to put 16th's were 4th's should be and it's a big mess. xD

dore way sounds funner and more complex. I don't even know how to use DDream =/
also dore way sounds like doorway.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
here's a couple things you can do (the song I'm using is at 140 bpm)
say you need the beat to land on the circled note then you can do this and have it work: same thing, but this time you have an extra note: then you can do this: There are also ways you can do this with different triplet patterns, among other things.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
all you have to do is select an area and then navigate one menu in sm
I'd rather take a couple extra seconds doing something comfortably than completely relearn how to step a file using a different interface. At best, SM requires a little guess and check; at worst, it requires a little math. I'll live

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I'm agreeing with dore here. Thank you dore, just cleared that up real well for me. But how would I figure out the bpm change?

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Just wanna confirm something, is every IOSYS album okay to step since I have about ~30 of them D:
And we need to cut them to ~2:30 right? And the artist should always be IOSYS OS? |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
The thing I like about DDS is that it takes so little time to learn as long as you can sit down with someone have them go through some syncing with you.
Once you got the basics down, you're basically golden. Plus you've got it in Cmod all the time which is nice. And the wave-filter which can be super-effective.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I refuse to use DDream studio until someone tells me how to enable autoplay or an equivalent functionality to remove notes from sight once they go above the cursor

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I use DDS to sync, then just step in stepmania. DDS is way easy to sync with, I'm kicking myself for not using it before now.
p.s. cedo, if that's the pth song I synced, there shouldn't be any yns. They often have crashes the 16th before the downbeat, so you would have a 16th jump there, but that's not yns. that's just the music. |
