Re: A List of ALL the Songs in the FFR Queue
I wonder if any of the files submited are above a 4.5/6 difficulty. It would be cool if someone would make a really good FMO or FGO file. We havent had one in a while.

Actually it's really hard to make non-overstepped, non-jacky FGO files.

Re: A List of ALL the Songs in the FFR Queue
it's basically impossible jimerax. every FGO song has overstepped and/or heavy jacky sections.
but, even so, it's hard to do even FMO songs that aren't overstepped. but there are 1 or 2 in queue.

Re: A List of ALL the Songs in the FFR Queue
Yeah, i know what you guys mean. It seems that the definition for a FGO song is a FMO song with impossible jacks. (Crowdpleaser GGC)

Re: A List of ALL the Songs in the FFR Queue
If you want to do a FGO song, find a song with an extremely fast BPM (240+ with stream will turn out as FGO), and step it well. Or, find some kind of classical song, although those tend to be extremely hard to do well because they're usually. 1. complex in rhythms and 2. have nonconstant BPM's.
Do NOT try to overstep some 180 BPM song with a million random jumps just to make it harder. That will be rejected, period.

Re: A List of ALL the Songs in the FFR Queue
I'm currently working on a Paradise Girl Madorin file, although it'll probably be more like a VC or FMO than an FGO.
Even though it's already overstepped in my opinion.

Re: A List of ALL the Songs in the FFR Queue
Another thing: If you're going to step stream higher than 180+, you don't need to EXPLICITLY try to avoid creating 8th jacks, especially if avoiding creates awkward patterns. Try not to use a lot of trill/runningmen/ministaircase patterns (unless musically justified), though, as those will be annoying to play with jack syndrome.

Re: A List of ALL the Songs in the FFR Queue
I thought only BPMs over 200 triggered eighth-jack syndrome. If what you're saying is true the my file will have jack syndrome (32nd rolls and changing 8th switchbacks.)

Re: A List of ALL the Songs in the FFR Queue
anything over 150 bpm 16th has the potential to be unAAAable... but anything down to about 90bpm 16ths (i forget the EXACT number) can cause 3 or 4 frame jacks.

Re: A List of ALL the Songs in the FFR Queue
OK let me contribute then. And let me do so by asking a few questions.
1. What is the average difficulty of the songs in the queue? 2. How many songs did you guys get in? 3.Could you average a guess on how long it takes all the songs in the queue to get i the game? Thanks, and sorry if I was being a little...impatient. Please forgive me.
