Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Something tells me the batch notes will be a novel comparable to the Lord of the Rings trilogy size.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
ugh, its turing into a huge mess. Way overlayered, cause I always put jumps on the base notes whenever there is the higher melody going on. I'm always tempted to layer this the way it would actually be played on the piano (cause I play the piano). :/

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
imagine if everything you knew about stepmania was a lie...
well that's what I went through today, when I looked at bdn's twelve and challenged myself to prove, objectively, that it was an inferior file to mine. strain as I did it was an impossible task; these patterns were immune to comparison, no metric for judgment was in sight. what, after all, made a stepfile better or worse then another? the opinions of man come and go but a stepfile is forever. harried I turned to witches hat, to session, to shoot'em all, to the built up works of my toiled careerer. they represented monumental effort but they were worthless, all of them filthy rags. only now was I aware of the futility of man's temporal efforts; but especially mine. they would never be perfect, I would never be perfect, what's the point?

Camus can-do but Sartre is smartre!
Pretty soon you're only going to like files created by people that know nothing about simfile theory.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
i really want to see patashu + BDN's file and not his own. that would definitely be a first. simfile judges = narcissists.
