I know beautiful synergy isn't dj sharpnel's song, but a guest song on his album, so do we have permission for it?

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
p.s. 29 files in so far. once I've gone once through I'll play everything outside of the editor to judge fun factor aspects

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Fun certainly should be included, but it's pretty subjective as well. Let the judges do the technical aspects of simfiles; Tass would make his best guess on the fun factor stuff.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I highly disagree here, I think a judge would know just as well as anyone whether a file is fun or not. People have complained a whole lot about the technical dumps that get into this game, so if the judges don't find them to be fun, they won't be passed on to Tass, which is all the better. Nobody wants to play those clunky files.
It is possible to write a fun dump; those should get in the game. Not just anything that's synced correctly. There's much more to a file than sync, and I think the judges would only be doing their jobs if they looked for everything. EDIT: Yeah... that makes sense. At least someone is judging for fun, haha. Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
there are some files i queue that i don't find to be fun because they have gotten excellent reviews from both judges. since everyone knows i'm not a good simfile creator myself, i rely heavily on their critiques for a technical aspect. i consider myself an extremely old-school veteran of SM/FFR, and feel that i understand what the typical user will want out of a file.
from there, i try to weigh the technical vs the fun. there are files that i'll reject because it doesn't seem fun enough vs the technical, or seems overdone. there are other files i'll accept even if i feel it's not amazingly fun because the judges have spoken their technical opinions. and i feel that to change it to make it more fun will detract from the overall quality of the file more than it will make it more fun. does that all make sense? if patashu/kommi want to judge on their feelings of fun, they can... but no judge in the past ever has to a large extent. i'd say it's 90% technical and 10% fun, and for me it's 80% fun and 20% technical. the reason the judges are in place is to handle the technical aspect of the files, whereas i feel that i'm a good judge of fun.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Hopefully nobody else is stepping Piano Etude (Angel Fire) here. By the way, check out my Kirby Dreamland (End Credits) created in 90 minutes, over a thousand arrows and one and half minutes long.
http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...p?songid=34230 What, 32 downloads already? I would also like to know how I can add the spinning 'lxDestinyxl' graphic on the corner of my song previews.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
put CD title (thing you are talking about) into song folder,
open the .sm file (delete the other notepad docs), where it says "CD Title", enter the exact file name of the CD title make sure there is a semicolon at the end of it save open sm reload songs and courses check there ya go
