I step a song in one day. Wait 14 days for update. Will probably have to make fix that will take one hour. Wait another 14 days. Repeat.

I hate stepping things for FFR now, I quit.

All this administrative **** has ruined all the fun of making steps. I remember when I had fun making files... Now it's just a chore to get this to fit the level admins' (often useless/incorrect) standards.

I dislike what has become of this game. My next 15 or so files are certainly my last.

Hopefully others realize what I have. If you make the environment for senior stepfilers so hostile, eventually all you're going to get is subpar files.

I'd love to see what happens then.

I don't know what you guys keep bitching about. The level admins seem to be doing a well enough job of filtering out files that don't deserve to be in the game.

different song cuts are ok... the chrono was just repetitive as hell.

also, the v2 has to be DIFFERENT from the v1... not just better steps and slightly changed rhythms. hellbeat was not the case on this, since there really isn't that many ways to step it... hellbeat is just better patterns, for the most part. incognito v2 is the same rhythms... just without all the jumps. but other than that, every other v2 is fairly different from the v1.

i'm away until later today. have been since wednesday... haven't checked a single sim since the last update. PLEASE be patient and wait for updates. expect 2 of them this week. one for last week, one for this week.

I noticed this long ago, and I've been trying to change it. If it starts getting out of hand I'll start doing whatever it takes to change this type of judging.

Me? I continue to step songs the way I want them to be stepped, I don't listen to whatever rules you may lay down for us. Tass and Shash supposedly hate trills and running men so I purposely put trills in running men in my simfiles just to piss them off. My sims are still accepted. I may stop trying to piss you guys off though...

Expect me to submit at least 10 simfiles this week.

I'm the same way. I don't really care about whether or not they will like how I step something when I'm stepping it. After I send it in, if they want changes I'll be happy to do so, but I don't really find the stepping process any less fun because of the judging process.

Somehow the following dumps got in:
Sepia, Incognito, Tribal Revival

Not to mention files that are 1320391823 times better are rejected becuase someone doesn't seem to like running men.

Tribal Revival isn't nearly as bad as the other two.

EDIT: Actually, Incognito isn't really as bad as you say. Yeah, it's not what we would do with the song but it's not absolute trash. Sepia is though. The patterns make me puke, and I can't make a v2 for it because they'll say that the sims are too similar...

Dude, don't quit. Your an amazing simfile artist. I believe Shash and Tass are being big pricks about it, and I agree they dump off sync crappy songs because they don't want their average rank to drop. I think things should change. They just care about themselves, and not really thinking of the actual plays half the time.

Ingonitien(SP?) De Chien, Incognito, Sepia and From Mount Chorus are a few offysnc crappy songs they decided to add anyways (No offence to the stepfile artists).

Tass, stop accepting crappy files and rejecting good ones, or you're gonna lose very good simfile artists. Stop being a prick. Although I understand they have to be perfect, at least stop accepting crap.

Tribal Revival had a lot of jumps but it wasn't a bad file at all...

Rejecting a file for patterns (runningmen, trills, etc) is idiotic UNLESS they don't fit the song at all. Seems to be a big problem with you Hi19 but I can't say which side I agree with, since I have no clue what the songs are like.

Not being able to get files in with runningmen shouldn't be reason to quit making simfiles for FFR either way.
