Re: Gamewhore Competition Thread
I think everyone on the whole site should only play excite bike once, that way we all win. Who's with me?

Well just to get a sense of it, I whored a single song for like 3 hours and it wasn't pretty. I'm not going to bother.

Re: Gamewhore Competition Thread
I don't think anyone's gonna last more than 3 hours whoring the SAME SONG. It'll get boring, annoying, and tiring. I'm just going to stick to random 7+ diffculty songs. Hopefully I can get my 200th FC by the end of this competition.

Re: Gamewhore Competition Thread
If you were to play The Divine Suicide of K [Hard] over and over until you reached 1,000,000,000 points, it would take about 22.7 hours of straight flawless gameplay. Playing the song once(5 minutes long) gives you about 3,800,000 points per play if you FC it with a fair amount of goods. So that means you would have to play the song about 264 times(81840 Seconds or 22.7 hours). This does not include fatigue, combo breakers, or breaks. This is no small feat, near impossible for the average player. However, if you were to choose a harder song with more arrows per second, the time may even be shorter. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: Gamewhore Competition Thread
Izzy: Rubix and I discussed using 2 computers on the same account... and my feeling is that that will be slower than 1 computer. You'll have to factor in the time it takes to move between computers. As well as the tiring nature of having to constantly move back and forth.
But, go for it. Rules are 1 person per account. You can use multiple computers if you want, so long as you're the only one playing. I still think you'll be worse off with that strategy, but go for it.

Re: Gamewhore Competition Thread
Ok, I'm going to sound likt a total noob, but whatever. I need to know the info.
Where do I find my Grand total score, and how does it work? Like is there a relevance between the difficulty of the song, credits I get from the song, or how the song lasts to how much points goes to your Grand Total Score?

Re: Gamewhore Competition Thread
haha I already made a list of songs I'll enjoy playing, yet have favorable taps/sec. I'll just have to work out a good order for them and hopefully I'll be able to break 600mil. 700 would be so awesome, but I dunno if I'll last that long.

Re: Gamewhore Competition Thread
I have three computers. Maybe I could mash with my left foot on one computer?

Re: Gamewhore Competition Thread
Max I ever got was a bit over 100mill, and I wasn't able to play for a few days after that. OK, I didn't give it my best shot, but still... I reckon if I focused, I could pull off over 300mill...
I did some calculations... and come up with something called points per second. xP Converting the length of the song, and dividing by the amount needed to AAA a song. Even though you won't be AAAing the song every single time, it's still a good measure of which songs you can play in order to get high score. So far, the best one DOES seem EHHS, with Eclipse coming next to it. Right after is Reality, GGC, and Big Blue. I can't say they're the best ones to play though. :3 Plus I haven't gone through all the songs in the game, so there might be better ones in there. Anyways, there are A LOT of Challenging to Very Challenging songs that give you 12,000 to 13,000 points per second. So let's say you do 13,000 per second. Assuming you don't AAA and you'll just get 12,000 per second... that's 720,000 per minute, 43,200,000 in 1 hour. If you play for 12 hours just on these songs, you'll get over 500mill. That's 12 hours of pure FFR. You don't have to AAA, all you have to do is FC and you'll get very close to the max. Some of these songs include: The Brain of the Moon Dazzling Soul Forsaken Neon Dazzling Destiny So let's say you wanna go for these 12 hours... fit in some time that you're gonna mess up... let's say 2 hours. xD 1 hour for lunch... snack... And then 3 hours of random breaks here and there... TADAA!!! 18 hours. So ya, if I wanted I could probably go for this, and I'm sure a lot of people will be able to do better. Lowest score on the Top 10 is just over 400mill, but I expect it to be over 500mill after this is done. xP I'm sure there's more than 10 of us around here with nothing better to do. ROFL!!! Re: Gamewhore Competition Thread
Arg, people that can pass and FC FMO's and FGO's have a huge advantage. And uh...to the people making those calculations on the arrows and the timing, what if FFR goes down? Then all your calculations get messed up. I hope FFR doesn't go down, but I highly doubt that'd happen.

Re: Gamewhore Competition Thread
I unfortunately can't participate (bowling tourney tomorrow) but if I were going to I would play flying high (heavey). It is one of the least tiring songs. It gives 1,868 arrows in what 3:40 min?
