Scarhand is low 12, only semi-long jacks (something like 620ish on Revo @ 180 bpm) are hard.

uhh... Silly Symphony is cut. Full song was 5 minutes, and I already cut out about 1:03 of it. And the colored arrows to the harps used to be a straight 24th or 32nd stream; forgot which one, but both blu and jx said it was offsync. I expanded 4x there and used 48ths to sync as closely as possible and compressed it back, but I'll go over it again.

Amazing. I completely changed my file to make it much better and it got a lower rating than the last time I submitted it (two batches ago). I knew it wasn't going to be accepted, but how in the world did that happen?

. This is a weird simfile
. I didn't like the PR in the doubles (specifically the (12) that went to 3 different noises in a row)
. I also didn't like the choice of what to step in the intro, felt very awkward
. It's really hard to get away with stepping bass, added to the awkwardness of the file
. The whole thing is awkward, is Mr. Nothing awkward?
. Awkward doesn't really fit the song because it's so fluid *shrug*
Haven't you heard? Weird is my specialty.

Actually I found this quite helpful, it gave me some good ideas. I guess since I made the song I knew all the rhythms, so I tried to incorporate them all and it didn't work out as well as I thought. I'll resubmit it with less weird layering. The last thing FFR needs is more VD/Challenging files anyway.

I honestly have no idea what to do with the bass section. Hopefully I'll either get some ideas as I go or improve the file enough to make up for it.

* Missed a billion rhythms throughout? No way I missed a heap of rhythms, if not at all.
* Alright, I agree with doubling the BPM.
* I cut this song enough times already. I've chosen a good ending for the song. It's not pushing it with a length of 4 minutes, when it got cut down from 5:09. Seriously, I think it's a perfectly good ending, compared to any where else in the song. Seeing as how everywhere else sounds unfinished, I don't believe it needs any more cuts.

enjoyable but a lot of misrhythms (esp in bursts), jumps are a bit inconsistent
* I hear misrhythms again. I am pretty strict with beats and rhythms, and I am sure I didn't miss a rhythm in the bursts, and especially the bass. Going through the file again at different rates, I am sure I didn't have any misrhythms, possibly saving a few.
*Reiterate the jumps being inconsistent, please.

Overall, I am very disappointed with this result. I have sent the file to a select few people, receiving all positive results and definite guarantees in being queued. Went through the file long enough to hear all the smallest rhythms and beats in the song. If it's possible, I'd like to know a few places in where my misrhythms have been placed.

artists with the most songs:
Kyle Ward - 34
Sharpnel - 29 + 3 others that are "sharpnel-sort of", like Idol, I Am Maid, and Otaku
OSTER Project - 20
cornandbeans - 19 + 1 collab
SGX - 16
Kil & DM Ashura - 14

That's the list of top artists... although it does include v2's.

I've found one error in Plunging Hornets, that being in Bar 23. After the 46 28 jumps, there should be an 8th up arrow. Regarding the bursts, I don't think there is an issue. It's almost pure static, something if stepped correctly, will definitely not be playable. I've instead, replaced it with a right to left roll, at faster than a 32nd burst, but definitely playable. I cannot see anything wrong in that.

From bars 52 - 57, I have only input major beats, not the background harmony. That comes in from bar 58. I did that as effect, not because I forgot it. What I think JX was talking about when he mentioned about jumps being inconsistent, is between bar 58 and 64. This is the place I worked on, replayed and listened to the most. That of course, doesn't mean that it's perfect, but I can't say there is any misrhythms or incorrect jump placements or any inconsistencies for that matter. Jumps throughout the song has been placed accordingly to the music, not because I felt like it, nor do I feel that I have missed any beats other than bar 23.

I would really like to have a re-analysis, with the up 4th arrow included in bar 23. I agree with Blu, having to double the BPM in some/most places, but I will definitely not agree with the many misrhythms, cutting the song and jump inconsistencies.

: destiny

I can understand what blu said on this file.

as for the music, best part of this song is from 0:53 (w/ fade-in, steps start with 1:00) to 3:15. at least, first 30secs and parts after 3:15 aren't needed for a simfile.

most of 24ths/48ths or color notes you put are complete bull**** in terms of rhythm, fyi. also you didn't put notes (mostly 32nds) some where the sound exists (randomly picking, m44, jumptrill in m47, beginning of 48, too many to list overall).

ok an example of inconsistency.
you're basically following going with cymbals at the beginning, but you quit following them at parts (to step other instruments). of course this method works in some cases, but I felt pretty weird in that part.

also, want to see reviews testers of this file, if they say there's no technical issue on this file. It's somewhat fun but not technically accurate enough.

Okay no offense Destiny but wow sorry that they didn't like your file but they have MUCH more experience than you.
You really shouldn't try arguing with the judges, it makes you look annoying IMO.

Hm. Tass, could you just elaborate a bit on what you didn't like on DeVouR and Gym Leader?

P.S. Trying to get permission for this song. It'd be 160bpm 32nds through the whole thing, is that too much? I'd probably cut out some of the middle.

Big Boss - hands in non-FMO. V4N's file
- How the hell won't that be and FMO? measure long jacks = VC oh that makes sense... But if V4N's file is really that good then I'll drop this. And if it isnt I'll hold it against you forever

250bpm mega project - fix up issues, especially 32nds

Bowser the shredder - great song. fix up issues, especially JS
- Yeah the JS is a bit iffy, will touch this up fo sho

Caprice for Violin - long, sync, hands

Clash on the big bridge - didn't play. permission issue with cut
- Didnt know about the permission issue. Might step full version but that'd be another gay long esay song, crap

CmR - what blu said. boring as hell
- Its not boring to someone at that skill level. Just cause you're really good doesnt mean everyone is, i thought you knew that

Fierce Combat v2 - how is this different from v1?

- Well, it does need a v3 so I hope dore's is good.

Vi Sitter I Ventrilo v2 - what blu said. then, w/o those, not that different from v1
- Except v1 is offsync and a ****pile and this one isnt, but if you can't see that then I guess it's hopeless rofl
