I'll add days 27/28 at no later than 6:30. I just got home from work and I'm trying to form challenges now, since I technically only had a filled list up to day 23, and single challenges on certain days (like the ??? DIS challenge was something I had since the beginning, lol)

After that, I'm gonna plow through my programming assignment. As far as this event, I'm finding it difficult to consider it a successful event because I'm having too much trouble updating it, haha. I really should have consulted the events team right off the bat to make things a little easier.

Not tapping out just yet, got a couple of the Day 27 challenges. All the songs that require a AAA are either just out or way out of my skill range (especially Xanthystramua LOL). The NaiNai 69 one is quite an interesting one, never seen that kind of an anti-skilling challenge before.

failed out at the last note, but you never said to pass it.

this was easier than it seemed because the red notes are by coincidence at almost exactly the right density for this sort of thing. here's the replay

Wow, great job on the Nai Nai challenge, smartdude. I wasn't expecting anyone to get that.

28!

First try.

First try but wow I forgot about all the hard parts so this is surprising.

Lost the AAA on Ketsarku three times in the final transition from 24ths to 32nds and Betrayal is hard.

Edit: The funny part is that I still didn't get Ketsarku.

And was attempting Xanthy... kept getting 1-0-1-0 or 0-0-2-0 in the ending with various shit elsewhere, and those were the rare occasions I made it past 500 combo.

Really? I found it way easier than the 500 average FC on Undiscovered Colors (which I never did complete but that's not the point my best was maybe 250 averages)... also easier than selective missing on Halcyon. :P

Edit2: Okay fucking finally this should not have been more difficult than the others...

Dunno if I'll be able to get Xanthy though. So horribly mindblocked...

Will daily challenges be hard-coded into the site, so we can constantly have them? Perhaps the community can give suggestions for challenges and credits/site unlocks can be automatically opened. Just a suggestion.

Got the two that I thought I would be able to get. Can't do the rest though.

Thank god this wasn't a "Get x number of goods while FC'ing y" challenge.

First, I tried smartdude's method and I wasn't getting anywhere with that. Then, I tried Zap's method, and that one got me much better results.

My method was primarily just hit all the left and down arrows with a few adjustments as necessary but I didn't think it was difficult...

Yeah, but I couldn't PA those arrows like you can; either I kept failing out or I'd fall like 10 misses short. With Zap's method, I focused more on the 4th notes, making minor adjustments to keep from failing out, which was slightly less difficult.

I actually had a 658 miss run, too, before the run I posted here, though I accidentally fell 1 arrow short of passing. Even though Halogen didn't say we had to pass, I wanted to torture myself a little more until I eventually got the run I posted.
