Re: May-hem: DAY TWENTY-SIX
I'll add days 27/28 at no later than 6:30. I just got home from work and I'm trying to form challenges now, since I technically only had a filled list up to day 23, and single challenges on certain days (like the ??? DIS challenge was something I had since the beginning, lol)
After that, I'm gonna plow through my programming assignment. As far as this event, I'm finding it difficult to consider it a successful event because I'm having too much trouble updating it, haha. I really should have consulted the events team right off the bat to make things a little easier. |

Lets see if I can do 44 Edit. The others are IMPOSSIBLE for me.
EDIT: Nope. Figured as much.

Re: May-hem: DAY TWENTY-SIX
Not tapping out just yet, got a couple of the Day 27 challenges. All the songs that require a AAA are either just out or way out of my skill range (especially Xanthystramua LOL). The NaiNai 69 one is quite an interesting one, never seen that kind of an anti-skilling challenge before.

Re: May-hem: DAY TWENTY-SIX
this was easier than it seemed because the red notes are by coincidence at almost exactly the right density for this sort of thing. here's the replay

Wow, great job on the Nai Nai challenge, smartdude. I wasn't expecting anyone to get that.

Re: May-hem: DAY TWENTY-SIX
28!
First try. First try but wow I forgot about all the hard parts so this is surprising. Lost the AAA on Ketsarku three times in the final transition from 24ths to 32nds and Betrayal is hard. Edit: The funny part is that I still didn't get Ketsarku. And was attempting Xanthy... kept getting 1-0-1-0 or 0-0-2-0 in the ending with various shit elsewhere, and those were the rare occasions I made it past 500 combo. Quote:
Edit2: Okay fucking finally this should not have been more difficult than the others... Dunno if I'll be able to get Xanthy though. So horribly mindblocked... Last edited by smartdude1212; 05-28-2013 at 08:26 PM.. |

Re: May-hem: DAY TWENTY-SIX
Will daily challenges be hard-coded into the site, so we can constantly have them? Perhaps the community can give suggestions for challenges and credits/site unlocks can be automatically opened. Just a suggestion.

Got the two that I thought I would be able to get. Can't do the rest though.

Re: May-hem: DAY TWENTY-SIX
My method was primarily just hit all the left and down arrows with a few adjustments as necessary but I didn't think it was difficult...

I actually had a 658 miss run, too, before the run I posted here, though I accidentally fell 1 arrow short of passing. Even though Halogen didn't say we had to pass, I wanted to torture myself a little more until I eventually got the run I posted.
