Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
The projected wait time is usually 17 or so days from when the batch closes.
This time it will probably be longer.

It's the same way with all the pdmusic songs already in FFR... Which is too bad, because they're good songs.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I so want to step Giant Steps by John Coltrane... but I talked about this before and was told getting permission to his music is really hard... I have the CD of the song that contains the original song and the alternate song of Giant Steps. I would love to collab with someone on it.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
What we need is permission from new jazz artists. Many of them do the standards but I have never tried for jazz permissions, save Garaj Mahal but they never got back to me.

We need some serious avant-garde... dunno who'd want to step it though.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I would
but to find good avant-garde stuff to step AND get permission is difficult, and on top of that, stepping it WELL is nearly impossible

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
great announcement for the people that are interested: Fluuk seems to know someone who knows a location where Within Temptation practices. I've not seen it yet but I believe him, and maybe, like that we could be able to get permission to use their songs! interested, anyone? otherwise I'll tell fluuk that he might as well forget about it lol.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I have no idea. Link their music?
If he does try, tell him to take his laptop or something so he can show them. Edit: Also, I don't like this batch so far (very much) but I like kommi. About halfway done. Don't ask me about your files.
