Dangit. I just realized that there is already another section of the forum for this.

Oh well. I think this will be the only question I post then, just to get the "Chat" forum thinking again.

In answer to the first, mine would be no. In considering both questions, my answer would again be no. But in answer to the second question...

that's a bit harder.
Actually I like the forum misplacement in this case. Chit Chat needs some stimulation.

All I was saying is that it would have made people think harder about their morals, i.e. if they're really that strong and that they believe what they are doing is right.

I think a lot more people would have said 'no' to the whole situation if the jail time was added to the original question.

Just food for thought, really. Good thread though. I appreciate that you actually took the time to create a scenario to get people to think even for a few seconds.

Thanks for the support foilman!

Yeah, I do think many people were just stating that they would do it while not considering consequences. But another question is: would they/you/I do it? If you actually had a gun in your hand, and had the chance, would you actually be able to kill the guy.

I'm guessing that I really wouldn't. I already don't know if it's the right think to do, then add on the strength it actually takes to pull the trigger? It would be hard.

I think this should be the only one hahaha my definition of a philosophical question is if I want orange juice or milk with my combo at McDonalds.
