And whats the policy on hands? Does it have to be FMO+ for hands, because i have a borderline FMO song that has a few hands that work well but yeah.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
A few things.
If you decide to step Blue-Violet, Black and White, Lost in Mind, Ninja Lad, Starwolf, or The Lion's Dance, be prepared to have competition... Just saying. (I haven't been working as hard on Memories, Versatile, or Wave Rip...) Second... I was wondering if a much harder (with, like, a lot more jumpstream...) Shapeshifter could be accepted as a V2. And third, about Procrastination on a Paper... Tass wanted to know if the changes were minor enough to skip the queue. So, uh, here's the changes to decide if they're minor enough. They might not be that minor, but I believe they do make the file much better... A full list of differences: * = pitch relevancy change, ** = rhythm change (or changes in note count) *Measure 3, patterns changed from 4321 (6824) to 4312 (6842). Measure 4, patterns changed from 4132 (6482) to 4321 (6824). *Measures 5-12, fixed the pitch relevancy. Made the same chords the same jump. Also fixed every measure with these patterns. *Measures 13-20, same as above. **Measure 21, added jump at start. (+1 note) Measures 21-28, changed some patterns to decrease the number of minitrills. *Measures 29-36. Same as measures 5-12. *Measures 37-44, pitch relevancy fixed in the same way as the other areas, really. Made the jumps the same on the same chord. And a few other pitch relevancy things. *First note of measure 45, 47, 49, 51 changed to match other jumps. Measure 56, moved two 8th notes to the left one to separate them from the first notes of measure 57 and the notes before. *Measures 57-64. Same as measures 5-12. ** Measure 65, added jump at start. (+1 note) ** Measure 66, removed a 16th note where there is a break in the roll that's being stepped. Either that, or it's too soft to hear at x0.3 (the other notes can all be heard at that rate). (-1 note) Measure 68, changed a pattern. **Measure 72, removed a note and added two. The rhythm was previously incorrect. (Note on the 4th, not the 16th). (+1 note) *Measure 73, changed pattern to be more pitch relevant (not exactly a runningman). *Measure 74, changed to a runningman. *Measure 75, first half changed to a runningman. **Measure 75, added the 32nds. (+6 notes) Original note count: 1133. New note count: 1141 (= 1133 + 1 + 1 - 1 + 1 + 6) |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Files in queue usually don't need updates to be tested by the judges unless the whole file is changed a lot. Tass can probably decide this by playing through and seeing if it's worse in some ways or something. With that many changes you may want to run it by Blu or JX if they're willing (not me since I didn't play the original).
As for V2's, as long as they are significantly different in stepping style or difficulty, they're almost always ok. Although again, it's for Tass to decide.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
ps i don't judge sync mostly because my keyboard has lag or something and everything is offsync when I play. I used to judge it much more harshly, but I basically can't anymore unless it's not even close. If I + offsync stuff blu and jx will rape it and it won't have any chance anyway

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
assist tick would be fine then unless your win98 comp is truly crappy (considering you still can MA on the comp, it's not that bad).

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
silvuh: i replaced your old one with your new one, so no worries there.
i kinda would like for more of the queue'd files from the last batch to get tiny tiny tweaks... but i won't mention it again after this. there were some decent small suggestions from jx and blu, but small enough to not reject the file.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
If I have a Challenging/Very Challenging song that has copious ammounts of hands, should I add jacks to gay it up to an FMO or should I just submit?
