Edit: I guess it is like Club.... I just apparently am REALLY bad at hitting notes with a hand that is also trilling/jacking.

Just means you suck at those types of patterns. I suck at this game now after not playing for a while and I don't even find d4's song hard. But I'm good at trilling.

Well, honestly, I think its underrated, maybe not an FGO but definitely higher than a 36 lol .... You know damn well I'm damn good at jacks ... my best is 2 goods so far now ... had a boo flag til that stupid up down jump at like 780ish ... but regardless those trills at the beginning and end are ****ing sick lol maybe rate it a 38/39(39 Id say)

Doesn't make for a 39 when it's like low in a good bit of it. It just have difficulty spikes in it. I managed the trills with the jumps in it fine and the jacks and I suck at jumps being mixed in lol. |

I mean we can get into a debate on what we feel is easy compared to one another because I can jack/trill better than some. You can Trill better than some in your division as well. Doesn't mean the "overall" difficulty of the chart isn't higher than what it is. This song decimates any 36 song in game right now lol Again opinionated. But, if you go to the Ingame Song Information thread and look at the "overall person's ability" idea (Which I find ridiculous but) and compare that to bballa, than yes it would be a higher difficulty, same with my playing ability. Either which way I think some songs need some rearranging anyway, just wanted to point this one out lol |

I'm just gonna let AJ do the talking for this because everything I say seems to not ever be taken seriously I guess cause I'm not elite. Either way our scale isn't ffr. |

Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #5
I'm sorry, but if you guys think that 210 BPM 8th jumping/16th trilling makes a chart that starts off goes in and out from an 8/9 makes anything higher than a FMO, then you really should rethink your objective ratings. It's not going any higher than a 37, period.
No more discussion. |

Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #5
I don't know where you having to be "elite" came up in my post? Lol. All I was saying was I was giving an opinionated guess as to that song being higher than a 36, and in particular rating it a 38 or 39. That's all lol.
As for it the FFR Scaling, I know that and have known that for a while, but there are comparisons to FFR's Scaling involved, for instance: Tageri = Basic Cut off from FMO to FGO for FFR. Tageri *DF* = Rated a 42 which designates the basic general idea of what an FGO rating is. So basically anything above a 42 (maybe 41 if you have borderline files) is a FGO or FSO. Four Block Madness is considered a VC on FFR standards and is rated a 38 on DF Engine, leaving the posibility of an FMO type scaling to be from 39-41 (borderline FGO). This song would definitely be a high VC which in turn would be same as Four Block madness am I right? ... that's basically all i was getting at lol EDIT: Sorry AJ already had this going before I saw your post. EDIT 2 : Yep best I'll do with this song. |

Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #5
lol four blocks madness isn't the same on df as it is on FFR for 1. Plus it's one that happened to be mis-rated anyway. No one knows our scale it isn't linear. No one will ever figure it out 100%. And I didn't say YOU said anything about elite I said that everyone disregards what I say as if I have no idea what I'm talking about but then when AJ says the same thing I do people are like oh okay. In other words I'm not an elite therefore I don't matter.

Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #5
1.) Just because you're not "elite" in standards of being a Guru FFR Player, doesn't mean you don't know the jist of what files are, and since you're a judge here on FFR, I'd say you would know alot.
2.) Regardless of what its rated here on FFR and whether the chart is the same, I literally just went and played it and AAA'd it first try literally while laying on my desk (not kidding.) So in turn since it took me 5 tries here on FFR to do it bleh lol 3.) Mis-rated, I did not know that lol. Either way, I could compare it to Hasse Mich too and say Hasse Mich and that are not far apart for my standards, but it doesn't matter lol And still, regardless of what AJ says, its an opinionated answer for me and I still think its a 38 |

Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #5
Can people just play the songs instead of complaining about how hard they are? Both D6 and D5's songs are fun as hell and I could care less about how hard they are. I see no point in changing the difficulties, it's not like they are on FFR. D4's song is NOT an fgo, and I'm being subjective about it, considering all the patterns, speed, etc.\
psychoangel, I've quoted you several times already. Your arguments have always been valuable to me :P

Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #5
Evil Sweeper Evolution seems like one of those files that are marathon but overall aren't that bad. In terms of the actual file it's like a 44 haha.

Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #5
I bumped up the difficulty simply for length's sake. It is a little tiring -- I actually had it as 45 initially, but decided to overcompensate (we all know what happened with This Could Have Been Nice...!) a little bit.
