Re: Hardass Riddles
Level 75 was one HELL of a level, but it reminded me a lot of this really creative riddle in notpron.
Level 77 is also unique and a lot of fun. This was actually a pretty decent riddle site. Thanks! u84: You may need to use a paint program. Don't get too frustrated and fall out of line -- this riddle's easy

If you go to the clue, it shows two yellow boxes connected. What does that make you think you should do? After that, it shouldn't be hard to figure out what gray, orange, and green mean. I was stuck on 40 for a while because it took me a while to find the map, haha. Totally skipped my mind to put .jpg after what would obviously go on the sign. I'm really slow sometimes... We can't all be as smart as you, Rubix. |

Re: Hardass Riddles
I'm sorry, I'm still not getting it.. I feel real dumb. I screen-printed it onto paint and tried connecting like colors, but that doesn't seem to do anything. What am I missing here?

Re: Hardass Riddles
If you're connecting colors, and the answer is in the form of colors you have not connected, what might that mean? Is there some relation? And if so, how do you reconcile that relation to achieve letters?
It's this kind of logical reasoning that gets you through riddles quickly. You need letters. You have colors you can connect. The colors you connect are somehow related to the colors obviously needed for the answer. Once you make that relation, you can connect things, and then, using that relation, extract letters from a very likely (if not only) source

Re: Hardass Riddles
I think I may be slightly dysfunctional in this area of thinking because previous levels I just had to think about and I at least had an idea of what to do. Even with all these hints, I have no idea what to do. Sorry if it seems annoying to anyone, but I just don't get it.

Re: Hardass Riddles
It happens. No worries.
Green = what? How can you get green from what you see around you?

Re: Hardass Riddles
Well, I originally got green from adding the colors together. Then it kind of made sense when I didn't see any greens, or vegetables, on the list. I don't know where to go from there, though.

Re: Hardass Riddles
In all honesty, if 9's giving you trouble, you're going to have a hell of a time passing the ones down the road. 9's a very logical and easy puzzle compared to the rest, which require higher levels of lateral thinking.
Hint for 9: If green= blue + yellow, how can we use the two blue marks and the two yellow marks to yield a letter? EDIT: Ok, now I'm struggling. 77 has me stumped. I've made it through most of the riddle but the last step is eluding me. EDIT2: WOW I *just* figured it out. lmao. Temp end. MAN it feels good to say those words again. *is reminded of the days of Notpron and Zest... ahhhhh...*

Yeah. I figured that. Unfortunately, I have a choice between stepmania or a graphic manipulation program. And I chose stepmania.
