bynary...spin is a really awful song and everyone has played a hundred files to songs just like that. poorly patterned jumpstream and nonsensical freezes badly hinder a file that wouldn't be any fun no matter what you did with it just because of the limitations of the music.

i said step what you like as a means of discouraging people from stepping those kinds of songs because no one likes those kinds of songs lmao...

torrent: i've gotten input from others that you aren't very active or reliable in the judging process and also i can't think of any of your files that i really enjoy (if i've missed recent stuff feel free to send me some and i'll try it out). i'll have to think on it -.-

if I go judge I judge everything that's there (unless I have no time) and I judge the files sent chronologically; first come first serve in a sense?

i look at all charts; there's no point in having other charts if you want someone to play edit because there are bound to be people that look at the other charts

if it probably has errors, then you should look at it more closely. don't be lazy.

I haven't been active last year because I went to basic combat training lol. I haven't been active recently because my step dad is a drunken ****** and bought beer instead of paying the internet bill.

I've also decided to be less of a douchebag (at least on the interwebz LoL), and I need some more StEpMaNiA eXpErIeNcE.

And kommi, should I finish Sound of Truth?

I'll send you Let Mom Sleep tomorrow, I've been meaning to send that to some kind of pack like this.

You can figure out if I have enough experience based off of that, I hope

Ok... sent another copy. manually transfered the file from desktop to laptop.

If this still isn't right... let me know. And in case you didn't know..yes, you did recieve the wrong file, but you got the right song.

Nobody will give a **** if I do - I haven't even managed to get files accepted in packs because of it.

Sorry, I thought you only judged one chart when playing, not all of them.

Also, judging by the reviews you gave the only reason it got such a dismal rating was due to the song choice...seemed pretty catchy and a good song choice. Call me weird, but having song that's (somewhat) educational and decent stepping material is something that is a unique and rare thing to find.

P.S I don't understand how the the patterns/freeze usage is bad - just saying it doesn't help at all. I placed freezes in areas that should contain them, so I'm not sure what to fix. I'll probably send out my file to somebody else for testing first, such as Patashu.

I know Spin wasn't a good file, I just wanted to see what the judges would say (seemed like a good song, but in retrospect I never should have stepped it lol).

But when you say the jumpstream was poorly patterned, can you explain?

just because you can't get files into packs doesn't mean they're terrible, it just might not be what they're after. people have expectations from packs that certain kinds of files that are played all the time (st. airhand and nvlm files and stuff) don't fulfill (also why midare etc packs exist, to cater to different expectations).

anyway if your files fill their own niche (I'm guessing in this case hard fun jumpstreamy files?) you can release them as your own pack and people who want to play that will download it, know exactly what they're getting into and have no problem with it

Judgement doesn't always tell you how to improve your files, it's just a process for selecting better files.

thanks for not wasting anyone's time

you'd think people would stop giving feedback to cut down on this but I guess not

hes butthurt still about his nominal misrepresentation
also what jimerax said is completely correct and is also why i stopped posting judgements publicly during the last pack. it's not our job to help you make a better file, its our job to say "this is good and this isn't." if case is such that a file has the potential to be improved upon and accepted into the pack we will give more detailed criticism as to what specifically can be fixed. otherwise we say what's wrong with it and leave it at that.

and i'll toy with ur mosaic file kommi lol, i'll just add another chart with the tweaks and run it by you when its done.
